It is very much like Populous, but the enemy AI is quite shrewd. And often there are multiple enemies, who will assault each other as well as you. The most difficult thing for me is getting my population sufficiently established and spread out, so that they aren't too vulnerable to large area catastrophes. But I'm only half-way through the first realm of the universe and I'm already getting my ass handed to me over and over. So it would seem I need to up my strategy.

I've not played it, so I can't comment on it yet, but the premise interests me. I actually don't even own it yet, since it's on my Secret Santa list, so I just bought a gift version that will redeem for myself if I don't get it in the SS swap.

It is frustrating, yes. Fortunately I was able to take it out on my SS recipient, who frankly has had it coming for a long while. :)

Okay, so it's not the most accurate solution, but it would be fun to find out just how much Viking you really are (I'm 65% Viking). Just remember to answer the questions truthfully, don't just pick the most Viking sounding answer - you're only fooling yourself if you cheat! :-)
That entire test is flawed; there is no historical evidence that vikings ever wore horned helms. It's debatable that one horned helm found near a viking burial site was used in religious ceremonies.

That's true, and I'm not surprised that you knew that. I guess some may have worn them, probably as a sign of authority or title, but as you said, there is no real evidence to prove it.

Did you take the test? If so, what percentage Viking are you?

I got a bit carried away with my Secret Santa recipient. I tried to be good and set myself a limit, but I just couldn't help getting some extra gifts.

There also was no proof vikings wouldn't have used rocket launchers if it had existed during that time period. ;)

Who needs a sword or axe when you can blow up your enemies? :D

Godsdamned Alan Wake....He was mediocre on the console, and I'm not getting a great vibe about him here. But I'm curious about his expansion and he's on my list for some reason. Damn it.

If I share my wishlist, then people have a nasty habit of ninja gifting. Besides, I was kindly gifted a game by madth3 recently. That will teach me for mentioning an interest in a game while in this thread. :-)
