Didn't see it mentioned, but the Flash dale version of Age of Wonders 3 Deluxe Edition was 40 cents cheaper than the day 1 sale. The DLC was the same price as day 1 (although it wasn't advertised as even being on sale, but it was). The regular version of Age of Wonders 3 was also on sale Day 1, but was not on sale during the flash sale.

Didn't work out a formula yet, but i will say the Day 1 and 2's were far more randomized than last time and I couldn't fins a pattern for Day 3. Haven't looked at Day 3 vs Day 4 yet to see if there is pattern.

What I will say is today I expect all games which have not shown up in the last two days (The slow days).

Could we see a new flash? We did the last two days, so I would think its possible today as well. But after today, I'm finding it more unlikely as those games would have had to miss out on the big first two days and then also on the regularly scheduled games - round 1 - running days 3-5. I expect days 6-8 and 9-11 to be repeats of days 3-5 respectively and in addition there is a strong chance that the games will appear 8 hours sooner or later than they did on days 3-5.

Commandos is good, and it's at an outrageously cheap price, If you want to play as a ragtag band of brothers working together to rid the world of nazi-scum, relying on each other's abilities, while trying out crafty imaginative tactics, to complete fiendishly difficult missions, then it's the game for you.

However, you'd better have a high frustration threshold. It can get, a bit annoying at times.

I slept through the start of the sale a bit this time.

Can tell me whether flash deals reset with the day change?

E.g. will Outlast still be on sale after new bundles come up?

The flash sales always last for 5+ hours, you can see the timer next to them. But normally they repeat after some time. What changes at the daily reset (15:00 CET) is the offered bundles.

I posted this as an edit, but I figured that in the name of helpfulness, I should make sure you see it. =)

Also, thinking about it, I rather like how the person attempted to tie two disparate threads of information together for a means of attack.

Look at what they said - GOG gave away 250,000 copies of AOW. Yes they did. That's a fact.
Presumably they were picked up by 250,000 different accounts. Okay, we can figure that as fact for the most part. The game isn't major enough to make slug accounts over just to get extra copies.

Then they go into their attack. Not really a good one when you look at it. They tried to turn another fact into a type of ridicule. The fact is, the sales format isn't exciting enough. Excitement is what makes people stay more than anything else. Excitement allows people to become invested infinitely more than bad pacing.

I could try explaining this to the person, but it's apparent that they finally grew enough of a spine to have their one shining moment of people paying attention to them, and it wasn't going to be derailed by such petty things as politeness, manners, courtesy or basic human decency. Their presentation was more important.

Also, in regards to the "on the forum 26 hours a day" comment? There's a term for people who are extremely passionate about a certain company, activity, hobby or what-not. It's called a "CORE AUDIENCE".

Now, core audiences are important because they tend to spend the most money on the activity, allowing the company to get the most possible profit.

If you'd pulled your head out of your ass long enough to conceive of just how many gifts us "26-hour-a-day forum dwellers" have passed back and forth, how many thousands of games we've collectively purchased from GOG, you might have realized how silly your comment was.

We are the ones who will keep coming back to GOG, even in the face of other stores, other deals, other options.

They provide for us, and we help to keep them in business.

Now, to get back to the AOW giveaway, of course those people probably aren't on the forums. News spread, people showed up to get their free shit, then left again. Big surprise. People tend to do such things in the face of free items.
Their level of relevance is nil, since I'd be willing to say that at least half of them don't stay around at all.

I'm picky and don't tend to hoard, if I know a game will most likely sit on my backlog collecting virtual dust rather than playing it, then it has to have an OUTRAGEOUS price for me to get it.

For the record its 6 hours, but by the time you first see it listed, it's less than 6 thus reading 5 hours.

In other words, if it says...
1 Hour = 1 to 2 hours
2 hours = 2 - 3 hours
etc.

If you count the sales there is a new one every 40 minutes. You can see the pattern.
For example
I see this:
26 minutes = 26 minutes remaining
1 hour = 1:06 remaining
1 hour = 1:46 remaining
2 hours = 2:26 remaining
3 hours = 3:06 remaining
3 hours = 3:46 remaining
