7:33 in the morning here as I type this... hope some folks are keeping count of what all comes up... I have to leave a bit after eight in the morning and then come home around three in the evening. Hoping someone will be able to keep a count as to what all I've missed to that point?

At this time, I'm now looking for the second on my list I was trying to catch at some point... the Alan Wake game and the extra content with it. Was hoping it would be in a bundle but if not, I'll just have to choose which one to get though the base game is what I'm interested in.

This is an Insomnia sale with its spine broken....
But, to go against my nature and look on the bright side for a second, it IS helping me up my sleep deprivation tolerance. Hell, I was still able to run through high-speed time management games with enough focus to complete them after 24 hours awake.
Admittedly, started getting the tiniest bit sketchy after 36, though....-laughs-

This isn't an Insomnia sale... hell, this isn't even a Fall sale. This is the marketing department going off their meds. This is a brand--breaking shitshow. Between me doing the actual science and you doing the 'customer-facing' side? Gog would have spent less on advertising and made more money on actual games.

No need to apologize, love. I do the same thing, and a lot of other people who are serious backers with large libraries and penchants for spending additional funds gifting like crazy do as well.
Not sure what exactly possessed GOG to do what, to me anyway, amounts to a single Winter sale, only in two parts.

Also, laughing at myself a bit at the moment. Of all the times for me to fall asleep during this sale, I ended up doing it during the only time a game I wanted showed up. Even with pacing at a crawl, I still managed to sleep through an item. That takes skill. -laughs-

I know... and no one who matters will read this. They had a golden sale model and they trashed it. They did have a nice one for the Fall sale - giving away Witcher 1 to sell W3. I actually bought some stuff during that sale. I gave away my free W1 to a student, who will now be a customer of GOG.

The only thing I have to say to the GOG folks... last insomnia sale, I own PID.

Would love to see data like unique visitors, total sales, comparative site traffic between this and an Insomnia event. No chance in hell of that happening, of course, but it'd be interesting to check out.

Have taken an interest in a game called Halfway. Looks appealing to me. But it's showed up a grand total of one time so far - during my 10 hour coma after the first couple days of being awake.

Yes, they have. But unless they're intending to blindside everyone by unveiling something else between the 16th and the 31st, I'd say they missed a major component this time around. And even then, sale fatigue has already begun to set in.
That was happening during the last sale, which this one is a carbon copy of.
Doing anything that people will want to have larger amounts of money for, anything grander in scale, is going to have a lot of pissed off people whose resources have been drained by the boredom twins sale(s).

I' have seen it in the flash sale three or four times by now and i barely pay attention to the sale. Only looked on it a couple times and went back to doing other stuff. Did manage to scratch off a couple of games from my wish list this sale though. =)
