And now you're back with us we need to talk you through getting your wishlist on GOGWiki. Why should you be immune to gift attacks?

First, have you installed the Barefoot Essentials script? It adds lots of features and improvements to GOG including the return of the coloured logo and red alerts. :-)

foxworks: By a mile, and then some!

CarrionCrow: There was a reason why I only went to Red Lobster once or twice in my youth, and it wasn't because the biscuits sucked. ;)
Yeah, the biscuits are good. The cocktail shrimp are OK too because there's nothing to screw up, just thaw and serve. ;)

In spite of the so so reviews Unrest fascinates me, anyone here ever give it a try? Kinda pricey for a long shot. ;)

donsanderson: Hey! We have a question for you, what exactly are these "Cheese Biscuits" you talk about? As an american I'm sure I have the wrong mind picture. ;)

trentonlf: I already posted this to you earlier remember :-P

IamSinistar gave him the nickname :)
Makes for an interesting giveaway down the road :) Sounds like GOG tracker threads are the birth place for new user names and the like

*signed* this sounds like a good plan!

donsanderson: Got so tired of trying to find stuff I want here I went to Desura to grab 2 things that have been on my wishlist forever. They refused my PayPal payment, that just never happens! There is a damn conspiracy going on around here! :-(
Having never used Desura, do they force any Steam-like clients on you, or can you get a no strings attached DRM free treat whenever you want?
Holy crap, I just felt an earthquake!

...I can't think of a good answer for that. I've always had a poor immune system.
I have the lovely Barefoot Essentials installed. I don't know how I was able to live without it.

donsanderson: Hospitals are a nice place to rest and let people pamper you for a few days. I definitely don't recommend a 23 day stay though, I was about to jump out the damn window! ;)
Wow! That is a long stay.
I'm glad it was a short stay for me. I can imagine myself enjoying it for maybe 6 days tops. Anything longer, and yeah - I'm sure that window would look really tempting.

Indigestion?
All right, interesting scenario ahead - told Hyper 12 and a half hours ago that I had 12 hours of functionality left. Up to 31 and a half hours awake, and now I need to run errands for injured people. Shopping and lifting and not hitting people with carts, oh my!

(This might get ugly....-laughs-)

With everything so damned slow now, noone needs to cover anything. It'll all still be there when I return.
Have fun, see you all in a bit. =)

No strings, they have a client but it's optional.

Thanks, Obidon! Time to increase the size of my collection, I think...

Don't know if you saw the typo -- the 'a' and 'o' are close together on my keyboard...

Great, you're already halfway there. Now you need to PM the awesome Barefoot_Monkey and ask for a user account for the GOGWiki site. Once that's done you can just "borrow" the layout of your page from one of the other profiles and let the script do the rest. :-)

Just shout here if you need any help.

Stilton: Indigestion?
No, a very real earthquake, that shook my flat.

Yep, didn't last long.

That's not entirely accurate though. They do carry games that are Steam keys, and then some that don't come with a standalone DRM-free installer and require their client, and some that require a one-time online activation.
