You know how summoning works? You have to buy the whole pack at full price and the next day there will be a promo with at least 70% off. At least that's how it works for me most of the time.

The heck.. I missed the first day. Didn't expect GOG doing winter sale in this time of the year. The last two years it usually at the end of December (around 25th) to the beginning of January.

Oh well, I still could get what I wanted. Happy shopping everyone. Remember, allocate some amount for this sale or unconsciously empty your wallet.

Well, the hubby was certainly interested in this sale. Got quite a few games so far and spent all around... 30 dollars worth...maybe a bit more. We've been watching the front page closely. :P


I've been a bit interested in Beyond Good and Evil but feel kinda dirty wanting to get it because there was a push for the game not 'too' long ago by at least one feminist "critic". That makes me want to stay far from anything she suggests even if I've been thinking on the game for a little while. :/

What can you tell me about it/why it would be a good choice without spoilers if possible? I never saw the game when a youngin' ( I'm 27 now ). So I'd like to know of the style and feel of it if possible.
EDIT: Not a timed question. If I don't get it sometime in the next couple of hours, I will eventually get it. I'd just like stuff for future thought.

When it comes to someone claiming "strong female character" I'll usually just answer with "I'll decide that much, thanks. Everyone has their own idea of what makes one."
