Cause the dev/publisher didnt want it to be? (see Arx Fatalis or a few others in the same boat..heck Gothic isnt either)

eiii: And GOG has much worse language support for the games. Even shinyloot has e.g. the DRM-free German version of some games which GOG still has not.
GOG seems to loose its reputation.... too much fed maybe?

Boilpoint: Anyone else having problems getting the free age of wonders? I didn't look through the whole thread, but did do a search and didn't see anyone else having the problem.

I clicked the button this morning, and it's been switched over to the "Thank! You will get your game soon" message pretty much all day. But, it's not in my account and haven't gotten any email confirmation. My brother clicked it I think after I had, and he's already got a confirmation email. Should I be concerned?
You're not alone. It's been over 7 hours for me. Others that I notified of the giveaway haven't had this trouble.

I wouldn't worry about it at all. Sometimes it just takes a little longer but I'm sure it's been registered and that you'll receive the game eventually. If not then simply contact their amazing support team and (politely) inform them of the problem. :)

Outcast did change publisher when Appeal bought back the rights. I can't remember whether it's ever been discounted since then.

Maybe too much focus on other things, movies, the damn web site redesign, Galaxy, ...

They are still the only completely DRM-free game shop I know, but that's it. Anything else isn't special anymore or even worse compared to other shops.

Well, of course the community here. :) But beware when they get hands on the forum pages, then the fun is finally over.

About 3 hours for me. Got a mail from my purchase just now, but no mail from the give-away so far.

I'm pretty sure that's not entirely true as the Enhanced Editions of Baldur's Gate and its sequel, Banished weren't on sale during the fall sale (as far as I remember). Also the Stalker bundle seem's to be new.

Of course there is a lot of overlap with previous sale, but personally I don't mind as there sure are newer GOG members who don't yet own those games but are interested and now get their chance to buy them at an excellent price.

Also, Amnesia: Machine for Pigs, The Banner Saga and Blackwell: Epiphany flash deals did not feature in the fall sale with the same discount if I remember right (Blackwell: Epiphany and Amnesia: MfP might have been there, but now the discount is deeper if I remember correctly).
The nice thing is that there is potential to pick up something among the flash deals even if you own tons of games already and took advantage of the deals of the fall sale.
