zuhutay: I don't understand. A big sale over several days ended a few days ago and another one begins??? I knew there was going to be a good sale around Xmas but I did not expect it that soon.

Is GOG going bankrupt and in desperate need for money?

I do not complain, I just do not understand.

katya_stevens: GOG is likely wanting to get their end of year sale in before Steam, to try and get some custom and revenue before it's taken away. The rumours are that Steam's sale will start on the 18th, so it looks like GOG's sale has been scheduled to end a few days before Steam's is supposed to start.
Ok, that makes more sense now, thanks for your explanations ;)
DAMN YOU GOG!!! As soon as I bought so many amazing games from the Fall sale you pull this madness!!! Its like I was leaving the store and some shouts "Time for the second massive sale!!" And I just have to turn my self reight around and go back in. I am wondering whether to buy Xenonauts or Orignal Sin
That's excellent advice, of course, but way ahead of you. I've done no small amount of gentle Twitter nudging.

Unfortunately, I doubt I'll see any new old releases before the new year. Unless it's a new release that needs the exposure, who really wants to release right in the middle of massive discount season?

Yeah, we'll see.

I can believe that but I kind of wish they had held the Fall Sale earlier, then.

Yeah, an earlier Fall sale could have nicely involved a Halloween special or something in my opinion. Including all the main sites, we're going to be going from sale to sale with only a few days' break from midway through the second week in November all the way through to the first few days of January.

I dunno if it's because I had an exhausting day at work today, but I'm already feeling burned out on sales and I've got a month or so to go.
Wow, another big sale so soon! I expected the winter sale to run around Xmas, but hey, I'm not complaining.
ANOTHER SALE ALREADY?!11one

With that out of the way: compliments to whoever does the graphics for GOGs mainpage, especially during these big sales. Really cute and well done, and that multi-layered snow is a nice detail. :)

The confirmation for Age Of Wonders is taking an eternity.

Caine123: is I HAVE NO MOUTH.... gog.com different from the STEAM version?
Attached a screenshot of the bonus content of the GOG version.
The Steam store page lists only the soundtrack and the making of (which is a 47kb PDF text file), GOG also lists the manual and short story by Harlan Ellison, I don't know if the latter two are part of the Steam version but I'm guessing it's the same.

Definitely worth picking up here when it goes on Flash sale again, I'm assuming it will show up again in the Flash sales several times over the next couple days.

Last time, I could have bought a half-dozen frozen pizzas on sale with enough left over to buy more frozens that wouldn't fit in the fridge. This time, I'm exercising restraint until I see something delicious.
I'm shocked. This is not a smart move. Everyone's burned out from the last sale. They should have released some awesome classics in the time between the Fall and Winter sales, now we don't get any. :-(
the thing is that gog.com has less games than steam and every sale the same games are discounted :(

It also saves GOG from having to blow all its schedule bundles the day before evil empires starts :) (which made the last two xmases a bit limp everyone knowing what bundles were coming beforehand)

Same could be said of the past evil empire store sales -- very small pool of games go on dailies every year....same pool used in dailies/community voted deals etc....

Yes and I think they would have but it was delayed by the big LucasArts deal and subsequent sale on the new releases.
Another sale so soon? Thanks gog - I'm hoping for more classic games this time.
