IronArcturus: Yeah, it is surprising that GOG still hasn't released anymore LucasArts games. Where are Dark Forces 1 and 2?
Just checked on GOG's facebook page and it looks like we finally have an answer to new LucasArts games:

Person: any chance we can get an update on when the next installment of Lucas Art games that you all plan on getting ??? (still hoping for Star wars Rebellion before the end of the year :) )

GOG: Unfortunately, not this year - but they ARE a major project that's coming up soon ;)

yyahoo: At least GOG realizes that the Winter Sale happened too close to the Fall sale. Look at the top of the front page. They made a point to cross out "Fall" and write in "Winter". That said, while funny, it doesn't really fix the issue. Oh well, for all my big talk, I just bought Battle Worlds Kronos, Blackguards SE, and Terraria.

That's always been true, but in the past, they were willing to simply *start* the sale before Steam's does. This year, it seems like they want to *end* their sale before Steam's *begins*.

I don't mind that they're starting their Winter Sale so early (even if it's still Fall). What I do mind is that the Fall Sale just ended and the sale formats were *identical*. They should have either started the Fall Sale earlier to give more time between the two, or gone with a different format for the Fall Sale.

Heck, the Mutator promo was only 4 weeks before the Fall Sale. Too many big sales in such a short period of time. But, again, I'm a hypocrite, because I've made purchases (numerous in the Mutator and Fall sales) in all of them...

I don't disagree but I think that's just how they are going to do it from now on (not have any big sale that competes with Steam). I believe they did the same thing earlier in the year, start and end a sale before Steam started the summer sale. That in turn makes me wonder if they are getting inside info from publishers on when the Steam sales are going to start.

It's actually not a bad idea but this is the drawback to it, you are putting sales too close together and to be honest, the GoG catalog is not THAT huge where most of the sales are going to be the same.

Damn...
I've spent all my spare cash on random non wishlisted games during Fall Sale, because nothing from my wishlist wanted to go on sale.
Now I helplessly observe as all my wishlist is up on flash deals, and the sale happened WAY too soon, I didn't have time to get money =(

According to google translate it's just French for winter.
