RWarehall: Banished and Still Life 2 have also not yet appeared and Worms United just did. No freebies though.
The recent appearance of Worms United brings hope...
Thank you
Huh... GOG 'limited offer' sales are pretty funny, but waiting for the games missed at the very beginning really tires. It's kinda hard decision - Botanicula or sleep?
Whoa whoa whoa... what's this talk of free Banished? And how do I (maybe?) get it?

Also - anyone ever see if either B-17 or Jagged Alliance 2 (just vanilla 2, not Wildfire or whatever the other one is) went on super secret double flash sale?
Next is:
Sanitarium
Sir, You are being hunted
Is there anybody out there who'd like to trade "Stick it to the Man!" and/or "Sword of the Stars: The Pit Gold Edition" for some of my stuff? (I seem to be shit out of luck in the classifieds thread. Since these offers go so quickly, I hope no one will mind if I post this here in a more heavily frequented thread, where someone might actually read it in time.)

Okay, taking a look at the games I don't own which are also on sale, but which aren't slated to be a Flash Deal nor likely to be in a Daily Deal. If anyone wants to help convince me to get or avoid any of these titles, please do.

Ground Control + Expansion
Ground Control 2: Operation Exodus SE
Rayman 2: The Great Escape
Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc
Subwar 2050 Complete
Waxworks

Thanks as always!

Sinistar if one of those Ground Control packages has "Incubation" included (I'm pretty sure one of them does) and you like wonderful, albeit brutal TBsquadS then you should probably pick it up if you can stand the blocky and washed out visuals. Awesome game. Sorta like Xcom meets Space Hulk (board game).

You might be thinking of Battle Isle there. Long ago acquired, an old Amiga favourite of mine. :)

Isn't that a Battle Isle title?

IAmSinistar: Waxworks
I watched a longplay of Waxworks for curiosity and found the game quite clunky and boring.
Also, check the reviews about getting stuck in the game without remedy..
I'd probably avoid that.

If you need to get something, maybe think at the Ground Control games or Rayman 2.

Incubation is part of the Battle Isle series not Ground Control :)

Wow you're both right... why would I have confused those? Was Ground Control an offshoot of the BI series or is it just that GC looks a bit like Incubation in perspective / unit size ratios?

Odd just went back and looked a GC images here... for some reason whenever I think of this game, I think of a squad of bulky little guys wearing black and white camo power armor, not open spaces and mechanized units. Strange.

Probably the latter. I don't think Blue Byte, creators of BI, have anything to do with GC.

Heh heh, thanks! I'm pretty certain I'll be getting the Rayman titles, they look like jolly fun and the price is unmissable. And Waxworks is off the list thanks to feedback on that. So mostly I'm curious if the Ground Control titles are good, or if Subwar has some aspect of play that makes it secretly compelling.
