HypersomniacLive: Does this confirm your theory about the 10 appearances per game?
avatar
RWarehall: Pretty much debunks it. I don't expect any game to appear more than once today and, in fact, only 1/3 will be making a last appearance. 10 looked like about the right number if we would have seen the same 6 games every half hour we did earlier in the sale. In the end, I'm not sure what to make of the number of appearances.
Quite so, but looking at the spreadsheet, I'd say you weren't that far off, just that 10 seems to be the upper limit for any game. Many will not reach that.
They've mentioned Flash Giveaways "they'll be gone in flash, so be quick!" in the last frames of both Name 5 video on Facebook...
any Idea what are they talking about?

probably like 50 copies to the first few who gets them, like they did in the first insomnia sale.

Looks like the average will end up just shy of 8.5 appearances per game and we already have games at 10 appearances and some at still 6.
Hmm, Shadowrun Returns has been seen 9 times so far. It last appearance was on Friday. Wonder if it will make it to 10?

darthbooji: Pretty sure they're completely unrelated stories. Also, in both cases, the DLC is as good as or better than the base game, and in each case you'll probably want to make new characters to start each DLC campaign. So, ultimately, it doesn't really matter. I thought both were amazing.

jcosmocohen: Thanks for the helpful reply! I think I'll start out with the first game, then, and maybe grab the second game (or the Masterset) some other time.
hey, you've got a pm. check it out and write me back

If it's anything like the first round of flash video contests they had a few days back, then that refers to the contests themselves as only the first ten correct answers get a $9.99 gift code each.
I would have preferred another adrenaline sale for the last day to cycle more games quickly. I haven't seen the games I want for at least 3 days, and I'm really kicking myself for thinking I would have another chance to grab them .
Well, folks, I'm done. Grabbed way more than I should have in these last final hours but I think I got everything I wanted. I really don't think I'll be playing most of these games, but they are classics and I just want them on my virtual shelf on Gog.com.

Wow, it has been like two weeks of looking at these sales where I check various times in the day (and night). What will I do now? The home page is going to look so weird next week when the daily sale page isn't up and it goes back to the way it looked before.

Anyway, its been a lot of fun.

Gog.com, I don't know how you do it but you definitely need to give your Marketing/Web Sales team a nice pat on the back. They did an amazing job of keeping me hooked and glued for the past two weeks!

By the way, I'm up to 248 total games on my shelf and 40 of those were purchased during this sale! :)

Take care
Amar

GOG want all of my money! This sales my library is breaking the 400 games barrier, then 500, and just recently 600 titles.

Well looking at the bright side, this Christmas sales will have nothing to interest me, and I need not buy any games for quite a long time. Heck, I think the games I bought is enough to last my entire life!!!
Any thoughts on how Journeyman The PP holds up? TBH I had no clue it was on here until just now. :P

Does anyone know when Amnesia - The Dark Descent last appeared?

As this is the last round I'm hanging on so I don't miss it, but my eyes feel like they've had enough.

2:05am and counting...
