I'm going to hit the sack in an hour, if Inquisitor pops up can someone snag it, I'll pay you back. Normally I wouldn't ask but I just found out it's actually really dangerous to go more than a week without sleep so I'd better get some. :D

Thank you. :D I don't need even know how it will run on my PC but it was up yesterday for a couple of bucks and I'm still kicking myself for passing it up. BTW, I'm ALWAYS finding shit I didn't know I had on my shelf. The other day I almost bought an entire bundle before I realized I had the entire thing. :P

same here
I just checked http://isthereanydeal.com for Arx Fatalis and this is what I found!

Price History: Arx Fatalis
Last sale: 50% off ($2.99)
Recorded 547 days ago on GOG

It looks like it was on sale from Dec 12, 2012 - Dec 25, 2012 back to reg price for the 26th and then back on sale from Dec 27, 2012 - Jan 2, 2013

I really don't remember this... does anyone else remember this?
So I went ahead and picked up Disciples II earlier today only to realize I don't have the 1st one and thought I did. LOL Now I need to try to catch it when it whizzes by through the flash sales in the next few days. I imagine it'll probably show up at least 1-3 times though.

I swear, it's like trying to leave the Mafia or something... they drag you right back in... :)

nuketakuler: i could be wrong, it just SEEMMSS like games that were like 3 bucks are 10 now etc etc. 4 dollar games 15

mrkgnao: You could be wrong.

HypersomniacLive: Who's they?

mrkgnao: They = Everyone except we.
We = GOG.
Hence, They = Everyone except GOG.
QED.
As soon as gog.com gives you a paycheck, you can call yourself they.
When I refer to they i refer to gog.com, regardless of your opinion or feelings

Then I think you're wrong. I don't think prices have changed. Some games that are at 50% might have been cheaper in other sales, sure but the full price remains the same.

I appreciate your honest reply. I agree they might not have changed much or maybe added more expensive ones? I dont have a problem with the prices either. Also its possible i bought all the cheap games allready

Oh well, that's a very different thing and it's quite possible. Since GOG has expanded to the land of Indie games, and it seems to pick not just any indie game, they are usualyy priced $10 and up. Not many $5.99 new games.

They certainly have added more expensive titles. For the cheaper ones, GOG has a fairly rigid pricing system of $6 & $10. There might be some - very few - exceptions today, but a year ago there were none, of that I'm almost certain. I also recall only one occasion of games increasing in price: when Interplay renegotiated its agreement, a bunch of its titles went up to the $10 tier, from $6. GOG was fully transparent about this, informed people well ahead of the change, even had a sale, if I'm not mistaken. So, while I feel some Steam titles may have recently inflated in value, this has not been the case for GOG.

I don't think you actually need to bother with D1. The sequel is a solid improvement, as best I recall.

I was trying to use MaGoG to see if our perceptions match reality.

This is the list of the games added to the site in 2013 and 2014. In fact there are still lots of games at $5.99 and even $4.99 but there are several pricier ones.

Once the summer sale is over we should be able to get clearer numbers on this.

I suffer from being a chronic compulsive chronological completionist compelled to complete each collection I'm afraid. ;o/
