heit1_32: I hope so. I was going to buy Consortium for $5 but had to leave and do something. Got back and clicked the buy button but then it was $10 which is too much for a game that a lot of people say only takes several hours to finish. I'm just worried it will go on sale again while I'm sleeping or at work. I have no computer access while at work from 8 AM to 5 PM every weekday.
I'm going to have to say it's probably a definite maybe... in theory. :) After a few days this thread should nail it down though. There will probably be multiple opportunities to buy, and then there are always an uptake of giveaways during and after promos also, and of course the inevitable next sale in a week/month/quarter etc. If I miss out on something it always comes around again one way or another I find, but a good dose of patience works wonders too. :) I waited a LONG time for some games to go on sale to hit the sweet price point but they eventually do. Another World for example... I've been waiting to get that for $2 or less for almost 2 years now and just lucked out today. :)
As for GOG-gifying games: the King's Bounty games I've got DRM-free on Gamersgate and I haven't GOG-gyfied those yet. But the madness has got to stop somewhere.... unless they go on a Flash-deal?

foxworks: Yeah, something is certainly wrong. I don't have to mouse on it to see the price :D

Next:

-Fist Puncher
-Battle Isle Platinum
-Surgeon Simulator 2013
-Aarklash Legacy
-Syberia II
-Luftrausers

Seems like there are quite a bit of repeats from the Spring Insomnia sale.

IAmSinistar: Nice! Always good to see a fellow GOG-Getter. :D

Here's mine according to my spreadsheet:

Yes, I love GOG that much. :)

DubConqueror: That's a LOT of wasted money! Can't beat that. Knowing you like games better on GOG, why didn't you wait a bit longer for GOG sales? Or did you get a lot of those in bundles?

Though with me the wastage is big too.

Worst offender in my list: Divine Divinty, bought first on Steam, then DRM-free on Gamersgate, then on GOG.

SNIP

So when I say you've wasted money, I'm in the same boat as you.
For me the worst offender is the D&D anthology (baldurs gate, torment, icewin dale......).
Think I bought 4 physical copies, one gog, one steam, one impulse (gamestop), one gamers gate.

xjay73: Thanks for the info. I wonder why I haven't received an email about this sale yet? I just happened to stumble upon it...
I think I receive GOG emails almost at the same hour every friday, so they might be sending them in batches by timezones.

If you don't follow many people, I've found that twitter is not a bad tool to follow GOG sales, comixology and others.

Spinorial: Dear trenton, I did say you should wait a bit ;)

Dear everyone, hope you get what you missed during the insomnia :-)
You did, but it's all good ;-)

Aye, no telling what you've been doing with your browser :p

wichogt: Hello everyone.

another sale? awesome! (OK I think I've developed a bit of a hoarding disorder, at least with digital games :P )

right now I'm looking at "overlord" looks fun, anything wrong with it I should know?
The Overlord games are a console-type god game. I bought the complete collection somewhere for Steam for like $4 or less 6 months ago or so. It comes on sale like that from time to time. I've only played the first game and it was fun but I haven't finished it yet. It's worth trying out IMHO, but I don't think GOG puts the Overlord collection on sale for $4 so you might find a better deal elsewhere if you're open to non-GOG games also. It was $4.99 for the complete collection on Greenman yesterday apparently.
I just LOVE how they've got the flash sales tiered so that you can see what's coming up next! This is even better than the Insomnia sale! I've got to save everything I can for my upcoming move *fingers crossed* but if nothing else, I love seeing all of the great deals and fun happening on the forums! :D

DubConqueror: S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadows over Chernobyl, Clear Sky & Call of Pripyat (SoC and CoP with DRM),
I totally hope those games come on either Flash sale or a daily deal for 80% off during the summer sale! It'll be an instabuy for sure if they do as they look awesome.

I'm not updating it... just that.

It's probably an issue caused by a custom script, an add-on or a combination - GOG's front page is quite sensitive to those.

And I just opened the email for the Summer Sale - GOG was kind enough to suggest 10 games from my wishlist, none of which seem to participate in the flash deals though, so I'm in no hurry, plenty of time till Jun 30th. ;-)

Tracking me still? I thought I removed that malware ages ago!
Sherlock Holmes - $1.99, nice! It's too bad they don't have the entire collection here, it'd be nice to own the entire set.
