So I missed Long Live the Queen again, sigh.

txnca: So this is the last one for free? was there another over night that I missed?
Still Life 2
Omerta
Torchlight
Alan Wake's American Nightmare

were the freebies :)
This is the first sale that I've gotten more freebies than purchases from but the ratio of new games to giveaways dropped significantly to 2:2

Cool, I was able to get all of the freebies. Most of them were gift codes so I will be able to give those to people who didn't get them.
Aaaaand it's gone!
11 Games bought, 4 for free, not a bad sale :)
Oh great, I just missed Alan Wake :/

Meh. I already have the game so I won't miss it. Too bad I can't use the key to lure another friend into becoming a Gogger.

skeletonbow: Oh crap, not only does Summoner have half a hook in me, but now Sanitarium does too. Geeze. I need a new RPG or ARPG like I need a hole in the head too. :)
Well, for what is worth Sanitarium is not a RPG but an adventure. I find adventures not to be so huge timesinks when compared to all RPGs and RTSs.

BROKEN AGE IS UP?! GOG why must you torture my wallet so?

That doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing. Sometimes you just want a quick and dirty tumble.

On an unrelated note, arpgs bore me. I just can't get into them.

bernstein82: [cut, cut and cut]
Well i disagree. While there is a lot of community activity here & steam has lots of people engaged in their stupid sale card collection/votes, they are a tiny minority of the customers each services has. True sale is not just about $$$, mindshare is as important.[cut again, for the sake of space and the sanity of readers]
I guess it all depends on the perspective :) Maybe it depends on the people indeed, but I think curiosity would make a lot of people go back.
On an unrelated note, I've just realized I will probably not have time to play all those games I bought ;) I wish a day would last at least 48 hrs, so that you could have to time to work, learn, play, hang out with your friends and gf, exercise, clean your filthy room and do something about your hobbies. Choices, so many choices and duties and so little time...

I bought a few games at the steemed competition because they were cheaper. Does that make a bad person?

Also: 50 games? Whoa dude!

I am very angry with steam right now. Yesterday the community had a chance to vote for a pack which included broken age; and they didn't! Instead they chose some silly puzzle game like world of goo and others that have no redeeming value whatsoever and more importantly, I already own. How dare they like something I don't?

Awww, I was hoping it would qualify me as evil at least.
Well maybe we are, who's to say?

Anyone else noticed something diffrent with the 'Coming soon' bits?
Right now Postal2, Grimm, Space Colony, Harveys new eyes, Shadowman, Carmageddon are on there, but one whole hour ago (plus some) those were there too (minus shadowman and carma, was Alan Wake and Syberia2).
Let's see what happens in +5 minutes...

Yeah, I'm also puzzled by that.

I just noticed, that when you take into account currency rates, the age of wonders game being sold at the steemed competition is not really any cheaper than GOG's version.

And that is the magic of regional pricing. Don't you love it? Love it like a sulphuric acid enema.

Looks like they are transiting back to 2 giveaways a turn. All but Sherlock Holmes and Eador end at the day turnover.
