I was wondering that as well, since we've had two of the four freebies within the first five hours on this promotion. Possibly they will run again. T'would be nice for many folks if so.

No. No gift code if you got it as a freebie. If you already owned the game by buying it then you get a gift code.

Oh my, witcher is the 2nd most gifted game in gog, after torchlight?

Does that mean that I spent the amazing, unbearable, incredible amount of 1.59€ on Steam for something that I maybe, possibly, have had a chance to having for free?

Unless the games repeat, then what happens? I added Omerta to my shelf this morning when the freebie first came around. But if it comes again I own it, and thus might get a gift code. Assuming it does come again.

Yeah, but that would be an easy fix. All they would have to do is add a flag to the games that were freebies. Maybe if you are really lucky they "might" let you have another one as a gift code!

I've seen it happen too, took a screenshot and sent it to support last night, along with a list of the IP addresses the content came from (thanks to the Firefox IPvFox addon). Presumably one of the servers in their CDN is out of sync.

I hope it will, given the large number of requests for it. It seems possible, given how quickly two of the four freebies have appeared. Either the remaining two will be spaced out more, or there will be a second wave.

Could be. I thought "what!? No more sale!?"

Very strange to me. But alas, I believe I must retire. Absolutely shattered. Keep us all updated on any replies?

Perhaps they'll repeat before the 24hrs are up to cover all possible timezones?

I'm with txnca on this, the freebies we got during this sale probably carry some sort of time-sign that will prevent us from grabbing a second copy to give away.
