It's very French Canadian :-) Especially the music is something I would pay for alone. The game itself doesn't feel much like tower defense, the traps are more like support for your character in action sequences. Some weaken the enemies, some delay them, some kill them. But usually you need to be there with your axe and your rifle. Not only for killing the enemy, but to set off some traps like explosive barrel or net trap, or when you stand near big fire, some more ordinary enemies like wolves are afraid to attack you right away (there's fear factor game mechanic) so you can shoot them and have time to reload. Also you can buy better equipment between nights: rifles, axes, booze, bullets (ordinary, silver, holy) etc. And based on gained experience you can upgrade some skills, so it has even some RPG side. All in all, it's very interesting game – with such a discount it's worth trying.

They show up in the flash sales like the others but where it says the amount for the others it will just say free.
edit: fix spelling.
skeletonbow: So we've seen 3 of the missing 8 games now, 1 was free, 1 was discounted DLC, 1 was a discounted game, and a 4th is on deck waiting to show up within the hour presumably as a freebie. That leaves 4 more to go. Banished!
Keane has been up before on the flash sales. I got it way back that way. edit: fix spelling.

IAmSinistar: Sneakings!
Did anyone get an Omerta gift code? I tried a couple times, but no email or entry in My Gifts. If it doesn't work, then the next freebie is wasted on me, as I already have this one. Would be nice to pick up a spare code for folks who miss it though.
skeletonbow: The freebie games are added direct to your game shelf and an email notification/receipt sent out. No gift codes anymore I don't think. Did anyone get an Omerta gift code? I think that gift codes are disabled only for folks that don't already own the game from before, we'll find out soon enough with Still Life 2 though. :-)

LynetteC: So because l already paid up previously, l don't get a code that I can trade/give away later? (Considering the number of Duke Nukem, Torchlight and Witcher gift codes still floating around.) I also own American Nightmare so I stand to miss out twice! :-(
