txnca: They shouldn't bitch about it. After all, it has been on sale at half price, IF you wanted to wait for it to go on a flash sale then it is because you decided to wait, if you were too impatient to wait then too bad! Read my previous post! I ALMOST bought the game myself but stopped myself hoping that it would end up on the flash sales! If I had bought it at the half price, I would kick myself for NOT waiting, not get mad at GOG for waiting until the last minute to put it into a flash sale! Live with your decisions!

I never understand the negative energy such people feel when that happens. If you have made your mind up to spend money on something and actually done it, then you have already calculated that the value of that item is greater than the value of the money you're parting with and you're happy with the exchange. If not, then one shouldn't part with the money in the first place. Things *ALWAYS* show up cheaper at some point in time whether it is an hour/day/week/month/year/whatever later, or at some other store or whatnot. Make a decision to buy or not to and then be happy about it either way. Either that or one can choose (and it is a choice) to live in fear and anxiety and have angerous rage throughout life with entitlement mentality and blame "the man" as being unjust or "ripping off" or whatever.
That Louic CK video I posted a couple of times lately sums it all up very nicely and with a great sense of humour to boot:
Everything is amazing, nobody is happy It's all good humour but it's also very true too. :) I've bought things and then later on found it cheaper in an hour/day/whatever, or it has went on sale at the same store shortly after. Sometimes just by calling/submitting a support request/etc. one can get a refund of the difference or whatever, other times it's just life. Either way I just stay happy with the good deal that I *DID* get when I bought it and felt it was a good deal at that point in time, and knowing that life is uncertain and things always can end up cheaper shortly after. I just accept it and move on and be happy about what I do get. :)
