Man, why the giveaways gotta be today?

I'm driving across PA most of the day. Guess I'll just have to stop every couple of hours to check the sales.

Saaaaaay... Wasn't Omerta one of the Flash Sale No-Shows? Anyone know what the others were?

Grabbed Omerta, never occured to me that the missing games would equal being the flash giveaway games, just hope they do Banished but not Torchlight since everybody has that already

Also glad they did this today since I will be gone most of the day tomorrow. I don't believe that Banished will be a freebie, if it is I will be flabbergasted, fall off the couch and probably miss it! lol I am still waiting though for it to go on sale with a deeper than 50% discount. I almost bought it the other day, had it in my shopping cart and was at Paypal, and canceled at the very last minute! Whew! That was a close call!

Since you're on your phone, I'll save you the trouble of wandering the forum, and repost what I said in the other thread: It wouldn't make any sense to give both Omerta: City of Gangsters (4 DLCs Included) and Omerta: City of Gangsters Gold Edition for free but charge for Omerta: City of Gangsters The Japanese Incentive DLC.
There's also a lot of debating and speculation if and how Banished will appear - it's been 50% off since the beginning of the sale, and I'd expect that it being offered as a freebie or more discounted won't go down well with folks that got it already during this sale.

They shouldn't bitch about it. After all, it has been on sale at half price, IF you wanted to wait for it to go on a flash sale then it is because you decided to wait, if you were too impatient to wait then too bad! Read my previous post! I ALMOST bought the game myself but stopped myself hoping that it would end up on the flash sales! If I had bought it at the half price, I would kick myself for NOT waiting, not get mad at GOG for waiting until the last minute to put it into a flash sale! Live with your decisions!

Not sure why that would be a problem. Almost all the games are 50% off and have a bigger discount during a flash sale. No different than anything else if merely discounted more.

I'm not sure I understand your question, but I'm grappling with the fact that I do like the game quite a lot while disliking the behavior of the developers/publisher. I'm stuck in the middle of the game, wanting to finish it and I am interested in the DLC, but I also don't want to give money to people who treat GOG customers as somehow inferior to Xbox or Steam or whatever. So, I don't know.
