Just be aware that the GOG version of Omerta has a game breaking bug and you can't play the DLC with earlier patches. =(

Awesome! Like everyone else here I got Omerta City of Gangsters free, but not sure if you noticed it or not, but it says that there will be 4 Secret Flash Giveaways today! Not the main reason by any means, but one of the very many reason I come back to GOG again and again!

Omerta is broken, about two thirds into Act 2 of the game. The devs have not provided a patch to GOG, just to Steam.

Where does it say 4 giveaways. I only note that it says "several".

I just read the forum threads regarding this issue - and [url=http://www.gog.com/forum/omerta_city_of_gangsters/omerta_still_no_update_it_has_been_months]here, and probably others too.

It all points to Kalypso don't bothering to provide the patch to GOG - in the first thread, there's a link to their forum that speaks volumes, imho.

Does it matter yet? I just bought the DLC for Omerta just as a thank you to GOG for the freebie. By the time I get around to playing Omerta, I am sure they will have patched the game and by buying the DLC, it shows the devs that we want to play there games and give them an incentive to patch the GOG version!

The claimed a while back that the devs had promised that patch 1.08 is 'imminent' and would be released on all platforms, but I would take that with a grain of salt.

Darn it....whatever the overall merits of repeating the flash-sale games so often, it just did work to get another $1.99 out of me. :) I'd actually picked up everything I wanted on the big all-bundles day (the last two flash games I was looking for came around near the end of that day), but after yet another appearance by Shattered Haven I finally broke down now...
