skinandbones13: Wait... I got Magrunner and Still Life 2; when did they announce the other three giveaways? How did i miss that!? Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! :-(

P.S. Great sale GOG, the only problem is I think I own most of the games on here now.

undeadcow: The same day as Still Life 2 it was preceded by Omerta and followed by Torchlight and Alan Wake American Nightmare.
Aw, man. Thought I was keeping a pretty close eye on things. Damn work getting in the way of the GOG sale!
avatar
marcusghost: Did anyone know if Valdis Story will be on sale one more time? Already got the Rayman Collection, but hope to get that one too.
avatar
final_option: No, as it's not part of the flash sales. But you can get it as part of the Action Plattformer Selection bundle. Or at a normal 50% discount.
Oh well, it just go away a little from the remaining of my game budget of this month. Guess that i will finish first the other ones.

I have been checking all weekend for Blackguards. I really hope it comes up in the next hour. It is getting late.

haydenaurion: Rayman 1 works fine cause it's a DOSBox game. Rayman 2 works on my Win 7 64 bit PC, but you'll have to try and find the right GPU driver as some of the drivers prevent the game from working at all. Rayman Origins has a nasty save corrupting bug that can occur randomly and was never fixed, make copies of your save files often and hope it works. I can't speak for Rayman 3 as I don't have it.

Xbox 360 controllers work fine for Rayman 1, Origins and I think 2 (can't remember).

IronArcturus: Wow, I've never heard of that Rayman Origins save bug. Is that listed in the GOG forums? Is there really no way to fix it?
That bug has been posted by users on GOG and Steam forums, unfortunately there's no way to fix it, you just have to make backups of your saves and hope for the best. I've been holding off on playing it because of that bug myself. A lucky few have managed to complete the game without that bug ever happening to them for what it's worth.

Huh. I've never heard of that bug either. Guess I'm one of those lucky ones as I 100%-ed that game - that's a real rarity for me to do so - and I didn't run into any issues whatsoever.

bell02: GOG had rly great sales/discounts,... they even had packs, a nice background image, free games and heavy price drops.....

sadly i put my money on the wrong horse....steam horse...
I should next time spent my money on gog, i hope they get something like steam wallet where i can uploade my PSC money! (GoGGalaxy, i'm looking at you!!)

i rly would like to have this D&D pack, this heavy price drop is not normal!!
I hear you, that's exactly why I spend most of my money on Steam. If GOG had something similar to the wallet, I would probably rarely use Steam.

It's not looking good for blackguards at this point :(
Anyone have any advice on the Bullfrog Classics or RollerCoaster Tycoon Series bundles? They both look kind of appealing but I've never played any of the games in either bundle so I'm wondering if they are good buys or not.

I highly recommend the RollerCoaster Tycoon series.

RTC is a great series IMO. It is a great combination of strategy, fun and creative control. Designing your own coasters and free-building and designing your own park(s) is great to go along with the campaigns.
Rogue Legacy
The Swapper
Red Faction
Teslagrad
Dustforce
Beatbuddy
Deponia 3
Risen
Risen 2 Gold
Unreal
Unreal 2
Costume Quest
Shadowrun + Dragonfall

Free:
Magrunner
Omerta
Torchlight
American Nightmare
Still Life 2

Thanks, GOG. This was the best sale until now.

Oh, my poor wallet...

Thanks for the input! It looked like it could be a lot of fun and the bundle deal is amazing for those games.

Wurzelkraft: I've been busy the whole day so I couldn't pay attention to any news regarding this sale....has Banished been mentioned or does it look like a false alarm now? (with the discovered picture in mind)
It looks like a false alarm.

With more than half the last day gone I bought it as 50% off is a good discount for this game for me and I don't want to forget to buy it before it goes back to its regular price.

It's coming, will probably be in the next round, hope you'll catch it.

I don't think you can go wrong with Bullfrog Classics; plus that set has more variety.
