The biggest celebration of DRM-Free gaming this season is right now, right here on GOG.com! It's warm and nice outside, the summer draws ever closer, so let's make sure it's full of fantastic games. There's no one good way to spend your summer, but we know well that gaming can make every single one of them better. So, whether you plan to stay inside, hike into the wilderness, or take a boat into the calm sea, we'll make sure your laptop is filled with great DRM-Free games you can enjoy anytime, anywhere. To that end, we're holding our [url=http://www.gog.com]2014 DRM-Free Summer Sale!

Each day we'll present you with at least two special Bundle Deals with a selection of of great classics and indies available up to 90% off! As usual, you'll be able to buy just selected titles out of the bundle with a slightly lower discount, or complete your collection with just the ones you're missing, retaining the higher discount rate. Let's take a look at our offers for today, shall we?

Today, we seriously mix things up to bring you both lighthearted comedy as well as dark and morbid horror. The Legacy of Kain Saga is the Full House of gaming with its family themes and colorful presentation. Across four episodes ironically titled Soul Reaver, Soul Reaver 2, Blood Omen 2, and Defiance the series explores the relation between Kain, a authoritative father with obvious god complex, and Raziel, his rebellious son with questionable fashion sense. The story also includes many of their relatives from extended family, that cannot help but to make a mess in their imaginary homeland called Nosgoth. Hilarity ensues! All this cheerful moments for only $5.96 (that's 75% off!). The other of our offers today, is bound to chill the blood in your veins with its terrifying setting alone. The Deponia Complete Trilogy takes place on a distant planet. A planet, that long ago must have been not so different from our own Earth. Yet now, it is a grim and dark place that suffered a tragic environmental disaster. The surface of the planet is now completely covered with waste. Toxic rain flushes the pollution deep into the ground, poisoning it and making the land barren. Way above, there's the remaining enclave of civilization, housing the remnant of the human race. Now imagine one of them, a defenseless girl, falls down to the toxic junkyard below. Even though she doesn't die instantly poisoned with every imaginable toxin, her future looks grim. The wasteland is filled with danger, and soon she'll find out that she is not alone among the towering piles of garbage. What strange mutated monsters could have survived in such conditions? And what do they eat? The horror! All the thrills for just $11.97 (that's 80% off!). There you have it, a mix of laughter and cries of despair to fill your weekend with gripping gaming. Or did we overdo the mixing?

On top of that, almost all of our catalog has been discounted by up to 50%. On top of that, our front page is overflowing with excellent Flash Sales on single games. You can grab them up to 90% as well, but don't take to long, as they come and go pretty fast! Why don't you head out to GOG.com front page, and see what's happening right NOW!

You have next 15 days to find out ....
I'm up to 14 games now. I have a love/hate relationship with these sales. Still...I am paying far less than one brand new game. I have so many games to choose from there is no need to buy anything new.

I remember when I did but new games all the time. Then I put a limit of $20 for any game, then $10. Now if a game is over $3 I take a close look. $5 seems too much. My how times have changed. There are so many games in every genre now I can be choosy. I still look for the unique games though.

xep624: I reckon Deadalic Entertainment is worth supporting - although they mainly have been doing adventure games, they have potential for making interesting RPGs or TBS games - lie Blackguards - that game got a "bad rep" for being to hard/unbalanced for most of the modern gamers... I loved the idea of playing with stats through trial and error to discover which statistic/spell/weapon damage type/attributes are crucial and which are not that important.... The level design was good - lots of different battles in different environments, the voice acting was not good and was annoying sometimes, some fights were tough if you had an archer/magician build character instead of melee fighter, but overall I'm glad that I jumped onto this game and I look forward to Blackguards 2 (coming in 2015...). Btw: the DLC was very short (only a few tiny quests extra in chapter 5....).

Gnostic: Ok bought it because I trusted you
I'm sure you will have some fun - and don't be put off by some difficult fights - there is always a way to win them!
Well, it seems I'm late, but any adventure fan that missed Dark Fall: Lost Souls just did themselves a disservice.

Despite being considered the worst in the series (mainly because it's the most recent one, and Dark Fall purists feel it lacks the lore of the previous two titles), it's actually my favorite. The ambiance and mood are top notch, some of the puzzles and riddles are hard without ever getting to be frustrating, the sound design is absolutely amazing and all these things combined make it the scarier of the three games in the Dark Fall series. I also happen to like the setting more than that of the previous games -- though, technically, it's exactly the same train station and hotel as in Dark Fall: The Journal, just older, more surreal-creepy and dilapidated.

Bottom line: if you're an adventure fan who also happens to like horror, I hope you nabbed this one. If you haven't, well, it's still worth it's full price here on GOG.
Phew, been sticking to the wishlist on these flash deals. Already missed Luftrausers once after missing it all three times on the Spring Insomnia sale, hopefully it pops up in the next 7 and a half hours. Not even bothering getting the stuff on my wishlist for 50%, especially after spending my day at the mechanic who found out my front engine mount broke. Thankfully, that still gives me $40 to spend this weekend ($24 of which has been spent).

So far I've picked up Spellforce 2: Demons of the Past, Jazzpunk, Race Driver: Grid, Windforge and Sir, You Are Being Hunted.

I've got the original game on CD but none of the sequels. Never played it though.

Hope I won't miss SF2: DotP again. I am a huge fan of the SF series. Espacially the first one + Addons.
Also DotP is the first "Game" the guys released who are working on SF3 at the moment. To everyone who did not know:

SF3 is in developement :)
I visit the german spellforce forums allot and the devs are trying to keep contact with the fans and work in their ideas what is kinda neat in my opinion. Not sure if it's gonna be good. But I hope it will be.
Anybody knows why Spellforce 2 Faith in Destiny is not on gog? It was released before Demons of the Past but its also thrue that its probably the only Spellforce 2 game with dlc - maybe thats the reason.

Damn, can't decide if I should grab Kentucky Route Zero at 50% off or not. Still is $12.49 and I've spent so much. Also the fact that the third episode isn't out and I noticed some of the reviews noted that they didn't have confidence of the release, as the final part has been over a year coming. I have to wonder, if I should just strike this one off until a better sale even if it is on the wishlist.

Third act had been out since the beginning of May, but I'd probably say wait on it still.
Awesome summer sale so for, got a hold of a couple of games which i should have bought a long time ago (Alpha Centauri, Eador Genesis, Red Baron) and a couple of "wild cards" (Expeditions: Conquistador, Miasmata, Fragile Alliance, Waking Mars, Penumbra and Wargame).

But to the question - does anybody know if the IL-2 Sturmovik have popped up on the flash sale so far? I'm finally getting a joystick, so I definitely need that one. :-)

EDIT: Sorry, found the list of the games that already been on flash sale. IL-2 Sturmovik was not there.

Yes, the same lurking doubts here. But I caved in .
