The biggest celebration of DRM-Free gaming this season is right now, right here on GOG.com! It's warm and nice outside, the summer draws ever closer, so let's make sure it's full of fantastic games. There's no one good way to spend your summer, but we know well that gaming can make every single one of them better. So, whether you plan to stay inside, hike into the wilderness, or take a boat into the calm sea, we'll make sure your laptop is filled with great DRM-Free games you can enjoy anytime, anywhere. To that end, we're holding our [url=http://www.gog.com]2014 DRM-Free Summer Sale!

Each day we'll present you with at least two special Bundle Deals with a selection of of great classics and indies available up to 90% off! As usual, you'll be able to buy just selected titles out of the bundle with a slightly lower discount, or complete your collection with just the ones you're missing, retaining the higher discount rate. Let's take a look at our offers for today, shall we?

Today, we seriously mix things up to bring you both lighthearted comedy as well as dark and morbid horror. The Legacy of Kain Saga is the Full House of gaming with its family themes and colorful presentation. Across four episodes ironically titled Soul Reaver, Soul Reaver 2, Blood Omen 2, and Defiance the series explores the relation between Kain, a authoritative father with obvious god complex, and Raziel, his rebellious son with questionable fashion sense. The story also includes many of their relatives from extended family, that cannot help but to make a mess in their imaginary homeland called Nosgoth. Hilarity ensues! All this cheerful moments for only $5.96 (that's 75% off!). The other of our offers today, is bound to chill the blood in your veins with its terrifying setting alone. The Deponia Complete Trilogy takes place on a distant planet. A planet, that long ago must have been not so different from our own Earth. Yet now, it is a grim and dark place that suffered a tragic environmental disaster. The surface of the planet is now completely covered with waste. Toxic rain flushes the pollution deep into the ground, poisoning it and making the land barren. Way above, there's the remaining enclave of civilization, housing the remnant of the human race. Now imagine one of them, a defenseless girl, falls down to the toxic junkyard below. Even though she doesn't die instantly poisoned with every imaginable toxin, her future looks grim. The wasteland is filled with danger, and soon she'll find out that she is not alone among the towering piles of garbage. What strange mutated monsters could have survived in such conditions? And what do they eat? The horror! All the thrills for just $11.97 (that's 80% off!). There you have it, a mix of laughter and cries of despair to fill your weekend with gripping gaming. Or did we overdo the mixing?

On top of that, almost all of our catalog has been discounted by up to 50%. On top of that, our front page is overflowing with excellent Flash Sales on single games. You can grab them up to 90% as well, but don't take to long, as they come and go pretty fast! Why don't you head out to GOG.com front page, and see what's happening right NOW!
Blackguards + DLC purchased, with this I already adquired 6 games in this promo (Eador: Genesis, Summoner, Memoria, Blitzkrieg II Anthology and Windforge), now except if new games appear in the flash sales I will only check the dailies

IAmSinistar: Hmm, still debating if I should pick up Moebius: Empire Rising. Anyone want to speak for or against it? No spoilers, please. :)
It is shortish, but very engaging story. The puzzles are never too complicated, bar one where the solution was blindingly obvious once I solved it. The story builds nicely and the dialogue is mostly well done and interesting.

The characters are good, and the central pairing of the two main protagonists is quite good. At that price I'd recommend it... out of sale, well wait till it comes around again.

Niggles: I remember people saying it was too short... 4-5 hours?
I have spend a couple of nights on it, it isn't that short. Gamewise it's kinda mediocre, it's not like your standard point and click where you use your inventory much, so it's not hard. Overal it's an okay game but not great.
Blackguards for $15 that's cheap... I bought it for $45 and I had quite a bit of fun with it (chapter 3 is sooo cool). Grab it if you like a mix of TBS with a dash of RPG ...
Thanks for the feedback on Moebius. The length doesn't bother me, as long as the gameplay is good. I may hold off this time and perhaps pick it up on the next pass if I've decided by then.

I don't usually get new games unless the dev is worthy of my support like CD projekt Red or triumph studio which created great games without stuff that harass it's customers.

Is Daedalic Entertainment worth supporting?
Looking at the varied times appearing on the titles coming up now I have a theory... During the first phase of flash sales they took statistics on which games sold well and brought in the most revenue. The algorithm then adjusts itself to give games that didn't sell as well in previous runs to have less time, and games that sold lots more (revenue not necessarily copies) more time availability. This would actually make a lot of sense for what we're seeing, and it also makes games people want more end up showing up more and for longer, and it would also bring in a higher amount of revenue from the promotion. Just a hypothesis to throw out there anyway. :)
Posted in the tracker thread, but so as to allow folks who are only here and not there to respond as well:

"Looking at Shattered Haven. Anyone want to sell me on that one?

Right now it looks interesting, but in that trailer and the screenshots the individual sprites seem to be so damn small, like I would need a mega-sized TV to be able to not have to squint. Can someone concur on this?"

Also thinking about Blackguards... the discount is nice, and it is a game I *think* I would enjoy... just not completely convinced I should get it for some reason (call it intuition doubts)...

Edit: What the!?! Man, that is very little time to be on there... going to take a chance and just get both, even though one is not one of those I was looking to get.

But Bard's Tale is on its first run so they don't have stats for it yet and it was only for 1 Hour none the less.

This isn't the first appearance of Bard's Tale

To me, this doesn't make a lot of sense... The summer sale goes until June 30 and some flash deals are repeating already. No need to give any games "even more" flash deals. I swear, in two days everyone will bitch around because flash deals are always the same games.

Not sure... Apparently the script that is keeping track has some glitches and missed some games, so perhaps it did show up already? I don't remember seeing it mind you but then I can't remember what happened 10 minutes ago either. ;oP
