The biggest celebration of DRM-Free gaming this season is right now, right here on GOG.com! It's warm and nice outside, the summer draws ever closer, so let's make sure it's full of fantastic games. There's no one good way to spend your summer, but we know well that gaming can make every single one of them better. So, whether you plan to stay inside, hike into the wilderness, or take a boat into the calm sea, we'll make sure your laptop is filled with great DRM-Free games you can enjoy anytime, anywhere. To that end, we're holding our [url=http://www.gog.com]2014 DRM-Free Summer Sale!

Each day we'll present you with at least two special Bundle Deals with a selection of of great classics and indies available up to 90% off! As usual, you'll be able to buy just selected titles out of the bundle with a slightly lower discount, or complete your collection with just the ones you're missing, retaining the higher discount rate. Let's take a look at our offers for today, shall we?

Today, we seriously mix things up to bring you both lighthearted comedy as well as dark and morbid horror. The Legacy of Kain Saga is the Full House of gaming with its family themes and colorful presentation. Across four episodes ironically titled Soul Reaver, Soul Reaver 2, Blood Omen 2, and Defiance the series explores the relation between Kain, a authoritative father with obvious god complex, and Raziel, his rebellious son with questionable fashion sense. The story also includes many of their relatives from extended family, that cannot help but to make a mess in their imaginary homeland called Nosgoth. Hilarity ensues! All this cheerful moments for only $5.96 (that's 75% off!). The other of our offers today, is bound to chill the blood in your veins with its terrifying setting alone. The Deponia Complete Trilogy takes place on a distant planet. A planet, that long ago must have been not so different from our own Earth. Yet now, it is a grim and dark place that suffered a tragic environmental disaster. The surface of the planet is now completely covered with waste. Toxic rain flushes the pollution deep into the ground, poisoning it and making the land barren. Way above, there's the remaining enclave of civilization, housing the remnant of the human race. Now imagine one of them, a defenseless girl, falls down to the toxic junkyard below. Even though she doesn't die instantly poisoned with every imaginable toxin, her future looks grim. The wasteland is filled with danger, and soon she'll find out that she is not alone among the towering piles of garbage. What strange mutated monsters could have survived in such conditions? And what do they eat? The horror! All the thrills for just $11.97 (that's 80% off!). There you have it, a mix of laughter and cries of despair to fill your weekend with gripping gaming. Or did we overdo the mixing?

On top of that, almost all of our catalog has been discounted by up to 50%. On top of that, our front page is overflowing with excellent Flash Sales on single games. You can grab them up to 90% as well, but don't take to long, as they come and go pretty fast! Why don't you head out to GOG.com front page, and see what's happening right NOW!

skeletonbow: 1:15 until the daily deals get updated, everyone out there who wants the D&D bundle should hop on it real quick! :) I wonder how many copies of the D&D games they sell in 24 hours on a promo like this. Individual D&D games can sell out at those prices 2000 copies in like 10 minutes or so during the Insomnia sale, so you gotta wonder how fast they fly during a day like today. I bet they sold 10000 or more copies of some or all of the D&D games in the last 24hrs, wouldn't surprise me at all.
I have one theory why the games title keep repeating for maybe 100 - 200 titles instead of going to 700 titles then repeat again.

It is because of the bundles!

If people buy some games in the hourly (36 minutes) sales then see the same game sell for a even more deeper discount in the next bundle. They will go what the Heck, I should have waited for the bundles instead of buying whatever comes out of the hourly (36 mins) sale. So despite the sales running up until 30 June, less purchase in between will be done and everyone wait for the last day / bundle

Hence GOG specifically stop these titles to come to the hourly sales until a particular bundle has been completed. Else no one will buy the hourly bundle and just wait for the final bundle to come out before starting to buy again.

After the bundles is completed, people will only be interested in buying the less discounted then the bundle, but more discounted hourly sales than the already huge 50% discount.
Nice, Blackguards is in the next flash group, less than 17 min to appear...

Yes, you have to be logged into the site while viewing the homepage in order for the "owned" flags to show up, or else it doesn't know who you are. The problem is that the website logs you out randomly as you navigate the forums or go to your game shelf, and forces you to log in again a zillion times due to inconsistencies in the web programming. I'm going to guess that this does not happen for everyone or they probably would have fixed it by now though. It happens to me randomly all day every day about once every 2-10 minutes or more, sometimes several times a minute and it's incredibly annoying. I believe part of the problem is due to the authentication cookies being invalidated crossing between secure (https) and insecure (http) parts of the web properties, and depending on one's browser configuration with regard to security settings/plugins this may cause a forced logout perhaps. This is just a poor aspect of the web design though. Hopefully when they revamp the website they will make the entire web property entirely SSL based and eliminate such problems entirely. It is very insecure to authenticate people over SSL during login, and then redirect them to non-SSL web pages using the authentication cookie unencrypted. Facebook, Google, Yahoo, and most other major websites learned this lesson the hard way a few years ago when the "Firesheep" software was released and used to steal people's accounts in coffee shops and whatnot, and the security problem has been known of since at least 1999 or so, however large parts of the web still do this very insecure practice for reasons unknown. Even Steam does it too, so GOG is not alone in this practice. :)

Perhaps someone should write a Steamsheep and GOGsheep hack? :) Not encouraging that, but hopefully they go all-SSL all the time later this year. It'd be nice to move around the various site features without constantly getting logged out regardless of your particular browser and security configuration. :)
Hmm they really need to rework the presentation of this a little. All these "offer expired :(" things are just really annoying.
Banished has definitely not come up yet; even if one misses a title good indication is these flash sales will repeat.

Since repeats are already happening it seems titles are randomly coming up in no particular order. Octodad was on flash sale overlapping with itself at one point...
The sale started at Friday the 13th and will go on till Monday the 30th? Man, must be one of the longest sales in history!
Hmm, still debating if I should pick up Moebius: Empire Rising. Anyone want to speak for or against it? No spoilers, please. :)

I remember people saying it was too short... 4-5 hours?
