With 700+ games discounted up to 90% off, daily special Bundle Deals, a constant stream of exciting Flash Sales, and some fantastic surprise giveaways, we launch into the season of gaming joy!

The biggest celebration of DRM-Free gaming this season is right now, right here on GOG.com! It's warm and nice outside, the summer draws ever closer, so let's make sure it's full of fantastic games. There's no one good way to spend your summer, but we know well that gaming can make every single one of them better. So, whether you plan to stay inside, hike into the wilderness, or take a boat into the calm sea, we'll make sure your laptop is filled with great DRM-Free games you can enjoy anytime, anywhere. To that end, we're holding our [url=http://www.gog.com]2014 DRM-Free Summer Sale!

Each day we'll present you with at least two special Bundle Deals with a selection of of great classics and indies available up to 90% off! As usual, you'll be able to buy just selected titles out of the bundle with a slightly lower discount, or complete your collection with just the ones you're missing, retaining the higher discount rate. Let's take a look at our offers for today, shall we?

Today, we seriously mix things up to bring you both lighthearted comedy as well as dark and morbid horror. The Legacy of Kain Saga is the Full House of gaming with its family themes and colorful presentation. Across four episodes ironically titled Soul Reaver, Soul Reaver 2, Blood Omen 2, and Defiance the series explores the relation between Kain, a authoritative father with obvious god complex, and Raziel, his rebellious son with questionable fashion sense. The story also includes many of their relatives from extended family, that cannot help but to make a mess in their imaginary homeland called Nosgoth. Hilarity ensues! All this cheerful moments for only $5.96 (that's 75% off!). The other of our offers today, is bound to chill the blood in your veins with its terrifying setting alone. The Deponia Complete Trilogy takes place on a distant planet. A planet, that long ago must have been not so different from our own Earth. Yet now, it is a grim and dark place that suffered a tragic environmental disaster. The surface of the planet is now completely covered with waste. Toxic rain flushes the pollution deep into the ground, poisoning it and making the land barren. Way above, there's the remaining enclave of civilization, housing the remnant of the human race. Now imagine one of them, a defenseless girl, falls down to the toxic junkyard below. Even though she doesn't die instantly poisoned with every imaginable toxin, her future looks grim. The wasteland is filled with danger, and soon she'll find out that she is not alone among the towering piles of garbage. What strange mutated monsters could have survived in such conditions? And what do they eat? The horror! All the thrills for just $11.97 (that's 80% off!). There you have it, a mix of laughter and cries of despair to fill your weekend with gripping gaming. Or did we overdo the mixing?

On top of that, almost all of our catalog has been discounted by up to 50%. On top of that, our front page is overflowing with excellent Flash Sales on single games. You can grab them up to 90% as well, but don't take to long, as they come and go pretty fast! Why don't you head out to GOG.com front page, and see what's happening right NOW!

j0ekerr: I've bought it nevertheless.
And the broken sword bundle, and the sam and max bundle, and Tales of Monkey Island and Back to the Future...

Oh my God, it's full of points and clicks.

PS: Didn't get runaway, I might get it tomorrow, IF there is a repeat of former bundles which I am not all too confident, despite former precedent (fingers crossed). How is it?
I'd say there is a pretty high chance of a full-bundle full-flash encore tomorrow. There are going to be flash video contests again all day tomorrow and GOG does stuff like that to:

1) Get people to follow them on social media so their follower counts increase as it has a powerful impact on game developers/publishers deciding to bring titles here.
2) Get people to come to the site and buy games one final time before the sale promo is completely over.

There are no bundles scheduled for tomorrow via the forensic predictions, so it is unknown what exactly will happen in lieu of that, but if they're drawing people here to promote tomorrow it has to be something on the big side, and with the final day historically being an encore - that makes the most sense IMHO. It's the most plausible thing I've seen anyone suggest yet anyway, although they could surprise us with something completely different and unexpected too. Either way it should be good for many folks though. :)

Phil84: I'm tempted to get the Legacy of Kain Saga, should I? D; #gogcomisliterallysuckingmedry
I generally frown upon "consolitis" type games, but a friend brought me Soul Reaver years ago and conned me into playing it and the game turned out to be pretty damn fun despite my bad taste towards console type games. As a result, I bought the whole series here last year as a result of the fun I had with Soul Reaver 10+ years ago. Dunno how others would receive it, but I enjoyed it. :)

Soul Reaver is pure quality. The remaining entries in the series were never quite as good as it but if, after playing Soul Reaver (and potentially having played Blood Omen), you find yourself enjoying the overall story enough then the remainder is worth playing just to see the story to its end.

But, if you only ever play Soul Reaver then that's perfectly good too.

It's the only one I've played to date, but I have the whole series now. Going to start with the first Blood Omen game then follow the series through chronologically. Unfortunately due to legal issues the first game is no longer available anywhere that I'm aware of, so someone wanting to experience the entire series will have to be creative with tracking down Blood Omen. Bargain bins, ebay, other sites that specialize in hard to find stuff ...
Also correct me if I'm wrong but GOG.com's summer sale ends officially at June 30th 1:00 PM UTC yes?

Yes.

Phil84: If GOG.com ever got their hands on Myth: The Fallen Lords (and especially its sequel Myth II: Soulblighter) I'd squeal of joy! :D
Ditto, I'd love seeing those on here. Along with Lords of the Realm, Eye of the Beholder, and the early Warhammer games, they are what sucked me into computer gaming for good.
maybe later....will miss tomorrow I think so may have to get a couple last minute items today....

mortalkombat: ToMI 3,50$
BrokenSword 1-4 < 6$
Runaway trilogy < 6$
and you sell these crappy daedelic MI wannabes 12$ ??????

btw, they have it around the same price at steam...
but they dont have other titles as discounted as in here (GOG)
You have to play the Daedalic Adventures in German. I've heard they lose a lot in translation. Here in Germany Daedalic stands for quality adventures and I myself like them very much. I don't understand why someone could hate them so much. Maybe it's because of different kind of humor.

But Deponia was NEVER intended to be a Monkey Island wannabe - not in the slightest. Deponia is a fun adventure with a bit of philosophical background (if you've played them all you know what I mean).

Here I am - big adventure and big Daedalic-Fan and not ashamed to say so :)
something something Blood Omen 1 something

Each time these LoK bundles come up I feel like giving Soul Reaver another chance, but my monnies... Gotta keep fighting the good fight.

I haven't installed it yet due to my backlog so I don't know if my version works or not.
Is it because your version is bugged that you can't pass the menu screen or that you find the graphics to outdated?

I wonder who has rights for this games. Bungie made them of course, but I recall they sold rights to someone before third installment. Though I have a whole series on DVD, in two copies even.

Bugged if I remember correctly, I simply couldn't do anything on the main menu. No cursor, nothing that allow me to start the game.

I think there are no moderators, unless a post is marked as spam by members.

Please refrain from posting links to illegal sources.
