There's no one good way to spend your summer, but we know well that gaming can make every single one of them better. Each day we'll present you with at least two special Bundle Deals with a selection of of great classics and indies available up to 90% off! As usual, you'll be able to buy just selected titles out of the bundle with a slightly lower discount, or complete your collection with just the ones you're missing, retaining the higher discount rate. Let's take a look at our offers for today, shall we?

Today, we seriously mix things up to bring you both lighthearted comedy as well as dark and morbid horror. The Legacy of Kain Saga is the Full House of gaming with its family themes and colorful presentation. Across four episodes ironically titled Soul Reaver, Soul Reaver 2, Blood Omen 2, and Defiance the series explores the relation between Kain, a authoritative father with obvious god complex, and Raziel, his rebellious son with questionable fashion sense. The story also includes many of their relatives from extended family, that cannot help but to make a mess in their imaginary homeland called Nosgoth. Hilarity ensues! All this cheerful moments for only $5.96 (that's 75% off!). The other of our offers today, is bound to chill the blood in your veins with its terrifying setting alone. The Deponia Complete Trilogy takes place on a distant planet. A planet, that long ago must have been not so different from our own Earth. Yet now, it is a grim and dark place that suffered a tragic environmental disaster. The surface of the planet is now completely covered with waste. Toxic rain flushes the pollution deep into the ground, poisoning it and making the land barren. Way above, there's the remaining enclave of civilization, housing the remnant of the human race. Now imagine one of them, a defenseless girl, falls down to the toxic junkyard below. Even though she doesn't die instantly poisoned with every imaginable toxin, her future looks grim. The wasteland is filled with danger, and soon she'll find out that she is not alone among the towering piles of garbage. What strange mutated monsters could have survived in such conditions? And what do they eat? The horror! All the thrills for just $11.97 (that's 80% off!). There you have it, a mix of laughter and cries of despair to fill your weekend with gripping gaming. Or did we overdo the mixing?

On top of that, almost all of our catalog has been discounted by up to 50%. On top of that, our front page is overflowing with excellent Flash Sales on single games. You can grab them up to 90% as well, but don't take to long, as they come and go pretty fast! Why don't you head out to GOG.com front page, and see what's happening right NOW!

Niggles: So has everyone bought everything they wanted?. im running out of ideas lol

blotunga: 80%. I was undecided about the Gothic games, but there still is an encore... Also there was no very good deal to some games that I want but not at the current prices. These are for example Lionheart, Space Colony HD and Democracy 3.
Im still eyeballing Gothic 1, Subwar 2050, Return to krondor, ...i think Shadowrun Dragonfall and Ascendant can wait til next sale... ive well and truly already blown my budget ....
Just curious:

I read a lot of posts mentioning "blown my budget", "out of money", etc.

We're talking about games sold for 2 to 5 $ on average. So even if I would buy 20 or 30 games, I would have reached an amount which is normally needed to buy just 2 or 3 full price games (e. g. a PS 3 game for 50 or 60$).
So how can you be "out of money" if you bought say 10 games for 2 $ per game.

No offense, just curious :-)

They didn't really have much money to begin with but manage to purchase a few games due to the low prices but then ran out, after all today the norm is huge sales and low prices, not the thing that almost never happens so "full price game" isn't the reference point. It's also possible they are exaggerating, meaning their gaming budget is out but otherwise isn't necessarily out of money overall.

I'm waiting until my shiny new check clears this Monday morning, and can hopefully snatch up all I've been wanting. That is of course, if GoG has an encore and my check clears in time. I'm playing it risky :P

Well you're looking at this from a perspective where we would spend €50,- on (a) game(s).

Speaking for myself, even though I'm finanically capable of paying that amount, I just won't, for several reasons.
Firstly, I don't have to since there are plenty of AAA titles available for half that amount (usually it just means you have to wait for a year or less). And since I already have a backlog as it is, it's not like I'm starving for new games.
Secondly, even though I have the money, I would rather spend such a large amount on my family and household, so I limit myself to a monthly budget (that's less than €50,-) for games.
Thridly, I personally feel there are preciously few new AAA titles that are worth €50,- (exceptions aside ofcourse).
I would rather spend my money on several cheaper, but to me just as entertaining, games.

As I said, this is just my personal point of view. Can't speak for anyone else ofcourse.

Too bad that Gothic 1 is only 50% off. if the deal would've been all Gothic Games 80% off, then I would've bought it instantly. Other retailers like Shinyloot offer Gothic 1 for free if you buy the rest of the Gothic games :(.

Depends on your budget and how much you spend normally on games. For me, my most expensive game related purchase was $15 for the Civilization HB (including BNW - the main target was BNW). Although if I come to think about it, I've bought the Telltale Collection on GOG on sale about a year ago for about $25... Also $50-60 is a lot of money in a country where the minimum wage is under $300. So go figure..

I have to say that I also don't buy full price games anymore. It's just not worth it. It even has a bad side effect because of ongoing sales. Two weeks ago I bought Tomb Raider for PS3 in a "real" store for 30€ and thought it would be a good price. A day later I saw it in the playstation online store on sale for 10 €. Fine.... And this week it was on sale on Steam for 5€. So, no, I also don't think I'll spend more than 20€ ever again on a single game.

I've bought TR in the winter with $5 from amazon... Indeed, it's not worth it to spend more than 5-10-15 euros on a single game.

You're welcome! :)
some people have a "budget" for games (games + DLC/ gaming/ recreational time)
so, if you go over that budget -> you spend more than expected

also, in some countries, games are cheaper, like 40-60% by default....(price regime)
also, some people don't spent that much money or very little for gaming (e.g. people who don't play games, people who play rarely games, people who pirate the games, people who trade games with friends, people who get to play only "free" games etc)

in addition, there are people who play 1-2 games for 2-4 years, and just these 2 games.
so, they spent 100 $ for 2 games, mainly popular multiplayer games that have a crowd and full servers running 24/7 for a full decade....e.g. Warcraft 3 Dota or WoW (world of warcraft) ..
i had friends (back in my days as a Uni student) who bought only 1 game (above), and they were playing only that game for 2-3-4 years
