With 700+ games discounted up to 90% off, daily special Bundle Deals, a constant stream of exciting Flash Sales, and some fantastic surprise giveaways, we launch into the season of gaming joy!

The biggest celebration of DRM-Free gaming this season is right now, right here on GOG.com! It's warm and nice outside, the summer draws ever closer, so let's make sure it's full of fantastic games. There's no one good way to spend your summer, but we know well that gaming can make every single one of them better. So, whether you plan to stay inside, hike into the wilderness, or take a boat into the calm sea, we'll make sure your laptop is filled with great DRM-Free games you can enjoy anytime, anywhere. To that end, we're holding our [url=http://www.gog.com]2014 DRM-Free Summer Sale!

Each day we'll present you with at least two special Bundle Deals with a selection of of great classics and indies available up to 90% off! As usual, you'll be able to buy just selected titles out of the bundle with a slightly lower discount, or complete your collection with just the ones you're missing, retaining the higher discount rate. Let's take a look at our offers for today, shall we?

Today, we seriously mix things up to bring you both lighthearted comedy as well as dark and morbid horror. The Legacy of Kain Saga is the Full House of gaming with its family themes and colorful presentation. Across four episodes ironically titled Soul Reaver, Soul Reaver 2, Blood Omen 2, and Defiance the series explores the relation between Kain, a authoritative father with obvious god complex, and Raziel, his rebellious son with questionable fashion sense. The story also includes many of their relatives from extended family, that cannot help but to make a mess in their imaginary homeland called Nosgoth. Hilarity ensues! All this cheerful moments for only $5.96 (that's 75% off!). The other of our offers today, is bound to chill the blood in your veins with its terrifying setting alone. The Deponia Complete Trilogy takes place on a distant planet. A planet, that long ago must have been not so different from our own Earth. Yet now, it is a grim and dark place that suffered a tragic environmental disaster. The surface of the planet is now completely covered with waste. Toxic rain flushes the pollution deep into the ground, poisoning it and making the land barren. Way above, there's the remaining enclave of civilization, housing the remnant of the human race. Now imagine one of them, a defenseless girl, falls down to the toxic junkyard below. Even though she doesn't die instantly poisoned with every imaginable toxin, her future looks grim. The wasteland is filled with danger, and soon she'll find out that she is not alone among the towering piles of garbage. What strange mutated monsters could have survived in such conditions? And what do they eat? The horror! All the thrills for just $11.97 (that's 80% off!). There you have it, a mix of laughter and cries of despair to fill your weekend with gripping gaming. Or did we overdo the mixing?

On top of that, almost all of our catalog has been discounted by up to 50%. On top of that, our front page is overflowing with excellent Flash Sales on single games. You can grab them up to 90% as well, but don't take to long, as they come and go pretty fast! Why don't you head out to GOG.com front page, and see what's happening right NOW!
Cool to have Torchlight on GOG. I have a DRM-Free copy from GamersGate, which didn't allow me to have it on my Gog shelf or Steam Library :P

Driftmoon @GG, on the otherhand gave me a steam-key and a no-DRM download, but still can't be shown on my Gog Shelf.

I find it weird that GOG offers Torchlight for free from time to time when they don't sell Torchlight 2...

Does anyone even sell it aside from Runic Games? (not counting the usual suspects that have Steam Keys only).

Sloopydrew: Please, please, please, GOG, could you put DEADLY PREMONITION back on sale during the Summer Sale? I had to go to work the one and only time it was an "upcoming" Flash sale and have watched, every chance I get, for it to return. Have seen a million games come and go (including quite a few I already bought -- and thanks for saying "Owned" on games already purchased, as it's nice not to accidentally double-dip), but no DEADLY PREMONITION. Does anyone know what the game went for during its flash sale? And, this is a bit off topic, but while I'm asking, if it has controller support? Thanks, everyone!
Deadly Premonition was there multiple times. Just wait and you might get lucky again.

Not sure how that's weird as the games that show up on GOG are a combination of the game company wanting to sell their game on GOG and GOG wanting to sell the game also. GOG pretty much wants to sell any popular game that is made available DRM-free, so Torchlight II not being on GOG is the result of Runic Games deciding they don't want to sell it on GOG, or conditions of the game don't match GOG's requirements (we don't know either way AFAIK). Torchlight II requires a mandatory login on Runic's website in order to play multiplayer. I'm not sure if that matters much though as there are various games in the GOG catalogue that require a CD key for multiplayer (beyond GOG's control) and the Torchlight II requirement is pretty much the same thing. It could be because Torchlight II uses Steam achievements and trading cards and whatnot and GOG currently has no such thing available and Runic might want the end customer experience to be the same no matter where they buy the game perhaps. If that is the case, perhaps they will add support for GOG Galaxy when it launches and we might end up seeing it show up in the future. That would be pretty awesome as it is a great game IMHO and great sequel. :)

No idea if Runic or GOG have ever publicly commented about why Torchlight II is not available here officially though so that's just my speculation based on observation etc.

budejovice: Current percentage odds in Vegas for the 4th freebie:

74% Alan Wake American Nightmare
26% Banished
I would rather get Jack Keane 2 as freebie rather than both of these titles

maybe it is worse ..or something like that... but what exactly is it?

The horror! I'm hoping for Banished! Game I'm pretty sure I'd never buy, in a genre I haven't gone to in a while but one I'd LOVE to play! The prospect of having it as one of the giveaways actually piqued my interest in the game which had already been rising since it was released here. Hope I get a chance to watch my little guys chop away in an idyllic forest, before freezing to death come winter.
The game is gorgeous, by the way.

Jack Keane is the definition of gaming.....
its the one and only creation of GOD...
even Chuck Norris dont mess with Jack Keane <-- true fact
Banished would be awesome, or go ahead GOG and make it Outlast DLC and I'll buy the game. I just don't want it to be American Nightmare. It's a great game, and I've played it a ton. It would just be nice to see something I don't own. No matter what, Thanks GOG!
I wish the Fallout games came back since they went back on Steam. Also, I wish they were free.

I feel like the only person who didn't get the free ones when they were offered.

Anyways.. thanks for the free games I did get GOG! =D
aw the one day where I didn't check up on the sale. lol oh well.
I don't hold out hope for Banished being given away free on here, however IF the dev is reading and taking notes - please work with Humble Bundle to price match Bansihed for $10 on there and I will buy a copy. I like the DRM free copy (for when I travel and don't have internet access) but also want a copy in my Steam library please.

Thank you.

EDIT: I've just googled the developers web site and sent them an email suggesting the above.
