With 700+ games discounted up to 90% off, daily special Bundle Deals, a constant stream of exciting Flash Sales, and some fantastic surprise giveaways, we launch into the season of gaming joy!

The biggest celebration of DRM-Free gaming this season is right now, right here on GOG.com! It's warm and nice outside, the summer draws ever closer, so let's make sure it's full of fantastic games. There's no one good way to spend your summer, but we know well that gaming can make every single one of them better. So, whether you plan to stay inside, hike into the wilderness, or take a boat into the calm sea, we'll make sure your laptop is filled with great DRM-Free games you can enjoy anytime, anywhere. To that end, we're holding our 2014 DRM-Free Summer Sale!

Each day we'll present you with at least two special Bundle Deals with a selection of of great classics and indies available up to 90% off! As usual, you'll be able to buy just selected titles out of the bundle with a slightly lower discount, or complete your collection with just the ones you're missing, retaining the higher discount rate. Let's take a look at our offers for today, shall we?

Today, we seriously mix things up to bring you both lighthearted comedy as well as dark and morbid horror. The Legacy of Kain Saga is the Full House of gaming with its family themes and colorful presentation. Across four episodes ironically titled Soul Reaver, Soul Reaver 2, Blood Omen 2, and Defiance the series explores the relation between Kain, a authoritative father with obvious god complex, and Raziel, his rebellious son with questionable fashion sense. The story also includes many of their relatives from extended family, that cannot help but to make a mess in their imaginary homeland called Nosgoth. Hilarity ensues! All this cheerful moments for only $5.96 (that's 75% off!). The other of our offers today, is bound to chill the blood in your veins with its terrifying setting alone. The Deponia Complete Trilogy takes place on a distant planet. A planet, that long ago must have been not so different from our own Earth. Yet now, it is a grim and dark place that suffered a tragic environmental disaster. The surface of the planet is now completely covered with waste. Toxic rain flushes the pollution deep into the ground, poisoning it and making the land barren. Way above, there's the remaining enclave of civilization, housing the remnant of the human race. Now imagine one of them, a defenseless girl, falls down to the toxic junkyard below. Even though she doesn't die instantly poisoned with every imaginable toxin, her future looks grim. The wasteland is filled with danger, and soon she'll find out that she is not alone among the towering piles of garbage. What strange mutated monsters could have survived in such conditions? And what do they eat? The horror! All the thrills for just $11.97 (that's 80% off!). There you have it, a mix of laughter and cries of despair to fill your weekend with gripping gaming. Or did we overdo the mixing?

On top of that, almost all of our catalog has been discounted by up to 50%. On top of that, our front page is overflowing with excellent Flash Sales on single games. You can grab them up to 90% as well, but don't take to long, as they come and go pretty fast! Why don't you head out to GOG.com front page, and see what's happening right NOW!

Yes and yes. It's a special, magical time. :D

OldSkoolRulez: Shame GOG's version of Ghost Recon doesn't include the two expansion packs (Desert Siege and Island Thunder). The full package would have been a definite buy from me, even at twice the (flash deal) price.

Still added quite a few games to my shelf over the last few days, so I can't really complain. Summer sales are cool. :-)
Yeah when I first paid close attention to GOG I was thrilled to see those Tom Clancy games here and looked forward to buying Clancy titles here at some point, but I was thinking more about the titles I do not already own on CD/DVD and unfortunately I own all of them and their expansions already. I buy some games here anyway, but would only do so if they had their expansions also to be complete. Sadly, I don't think any more titles have been added from Ubi in the series in 3 years I've been paying attention though. My Ubi Clancy collection goes all the way up to 2006 then sharply cuts off at the onset of draconian Ubisoft DRM. Don't own even a single Ubisoft game made after 2007 or so except freebies and giveaways I've gotten since. :)

Would be awesome to see the entire family of Clancy games here though. If that happened I'd be hard pressed to not only buy all the games I've never played from 2007-now, but I'd probably re-buy all the ones I already have just to be complete on the digital download side and not have to touch the discs again. Not worth it for one or two games missing their expansions though. Hopefully that'll change in the future. :)

Correct. This thread has the running track of what deals have come and are up now.

darn....
this is worse than the Insomnia-Sale
Cool!
I wonder if we're ever likely to see the individual games in the Hitman series come on sale for 80% off in the future. I snagged the entire series on Steam a while back for $8 or so but that was before Contracts was available so it's the only one I need. Don't want to buy the whole bundle here though as I own them all already and $3.99 just for Contracts is a bit steep since I paid about double that for the entire rest of the series including the beautiful Hitman Absolution. Don't remember seeing any of these games come on sale individually here in the past though, does anyone else recall?

http://isthereanydeal.com/#/page:game/price?plain=hitmaniiicontracts suggests this is the best price to date for this one so far.

It's $3.49 (50c) cheaper on Steam currently also: http://store.steampowered.com/app/247430

Enhanced Steam suggests: Historical Low: $1.50 at GamersGate on Sat Apr 26 2014 (Info)

That would appear to be the best deal on this game so far out there. Wish I had seen that deal when it was on on GamersGate, damn. :)

well, the best you can get this game at (GOG.com) a future point is at 2,00 usd....considering 80% discount of the 10,00usd....and for that you will have to wait for a sale (like christmas sale)......considering that you might not get the game as individual but the whole collection at 80% discount

at steam is currently 3,00usd (-50% from 6,00 usd)

i want Tales of Monkey Island for my collection only (i had the game but dont know where it is now)
thats why I m not willing to pay 35usd to get it but....since it is on sale, im willing to pay 3,50usd to grab it

Tekkaman-James: The advert from yesterday mentioned them. Not dates or details, of course, but they were mentioned.
Ah, ok. These were mentioned on Day 1 as well, but as I said I expect them to pop-up during next week, and not all on the same day. :-)

No I can´t remember seeing single Hitman games being sold at this discount before on GOG. I don´t think Square Enix will do sales where you can get just one Hitman game. I got the first collection (the one without Blood Money) on disc and later got Blood Money on Steam. Contracts was graphically quite impressive and I liked some of the missions but I would say Contracts is not on par with the other Hitman games (don´t know about Absolution though). Contracts felt like an expansion more than a sequel.

you could sent a mail to staff at steam, saying that you bought the Hitman complete collection/bundle but they tricked you by not providing the 3rd installment Contracts and that you want a refund back....or you plan to sue them.....
rofls and lols......
they may feel bad for you and give you a free coupon for Contracts.... lol

i wonder, how come they had a hitman collection including absolution, but contracts was not inside this bundle???
So, if I buy Sword of the Stars: The Pit Gold Edition next time it comes up, and I already own all the pieces as separate purchases, does that break something?

$2 for Hitman Contracts non-bundled on GOG would get a buy from me in any promo, possibly even $2.49 which is approximately what I paid per-game for the rest of the series elsewhere so I'd go for that if it comes up. Not in a rush for it though either although I'd have grabbed it today if it was in a flash sale instead of the bundle. I suppose there's a chance of it in a flash sale in a future promo for 80% off too.

Yeah, great discount on Monkey Island too. I pondered getting that one but am really trying to exercise even the slightest amount of restraint and force myself to keep under $2.49 on any one title, which I think I've done on the whole summer promo so far. Keep telling myself... "There are always future sales..." :)
