The biggest celebration of DRM-Free gaming this season is right now, right here on GOG.com! It's warm and nice outside, the summer draws ever closer, so let's make sure it's full of fantastic games. There's no one good way to spend your summer, but we know well that gaming can make every single one of them better. So, whether you plan to stay inside, hike into the wilderness, or take a boat into the calm sea, we'll make sure your laptop is filled with great DRM-Free games you can enjoy anytime, anywhere. To that end, we're holding our [url=http://www.gog.com]2014 DRM-Free Summer Sale!

Each day we'll present you with at least two special Bundle Deals with a selection of of great classics and indies available up to 90% off! As usual, you'll be able to buy just selected titles out of the bundle with a slightly lower discount, or complete your collection with just the ones you're missing, retaining the higher discount rate. Let's take a look at our offers for today, shall we?

Today, we seriously mix things up to bring you both lighthearted comedy as well as dark and morbid horror. The Legacy of Kain Saga is the Full House of gaming with its family themes and colorful presentation. Across four episodes ironically titled Soul Reaver, Soul Reaver 2, Blood Omen 2, and Defiance the series explores the relation between Kain, a authoritative father with obvious god complex, and Raziel, his rebellious son with questionable fashion sense. The story also includes many of their relatives from extended family, that cannot help but to make a mess in their imaginary homeland called Nosgoth. Hilarity ensues! All this cheerful moments for only $5.96 (that's 75% off!). The other of our offers today, is bound to chill the blood in your veins with its terrifying setting alone. The Deponia Complete Trilogy takes place on a distant planet. A planet, that long ago must have been not so different from our own Earth. Yet now, it is a grim and dark place that suffered a tragic environmental disaster. The surface of the planet is now completely covered with waste. Toxic rain flushes the pollution deep into the ground, poisoning it and making the land barren. Way above, there's the remaining enclave of civilization, housing the remnant of the human race. Now imagine one of them, a defenseless girl, falls down to the toxic junkyard below. Even though she doesn't die instantly poisoned with every imaginable toxin, her future looks grim. The wasteland is filled with danger, and soon she'll find out that she is not alone among the towering piles of garbage. What strange mutated monsters could have survived in such conditions? And what do they eat? The horror! All the thrills for just $11.97 (that's 80% off!). There you have it, a mix of laughter and cries of despair to fill your weekend with gripping gaming. Or did we overdo the mixing?

On top of that, almost all of our catalog has been discounted by up to 50%. On top of that, our front page is overflowing with excellent Flash Sales on single games. You can grab them up to 90% as well, but don't take to long, as they come and go pretty fast! Why don't you head out to GOG.com front page, and see what's happening right NOW!

MadyNora: If you own something from a bundle, you won't buy that one with the bundle, but the full discount applies for the rest.

VultureDude: Are you sure? The price it quotes is the full price of the bundle for me. Am I being forced to buy gift copies of the ones I already own?
This is what I see: http://i.imgur.com/42LNKt3.png

KittyKay: I'm considering getting the D&D bundle because I got Neverwinter Nights when I pre-ordered W3 and it would be nice to round out the collection, but I've never played a D&D game before. If I get the bundle then I will likely have to call it a day on the sale because my wallet is about to hogtie me and shove me in a closet, so that being the case is it worth getting the bundle or should I pass and wait to get other games?
You should go for it: that's a great package at a great discount.
I couldn't resist that Sam & Max bundle.

JudasIscariot: Truth be told, I'd compare it to something like a Tim Schafer game, such as Stacking, but with a sharper tone as there are moments when the main character and the supporting cast tend to poke fun at the drudgery of everyday life :)
Stacking was not a Tim Schafer game. It was a Lee Petty game.

Stick it to the Man does kind of take after Psychonauts, though.

I absolutely think it's worth it. I bought this exact package last year. It's a fantastic deal, and there are some great games in there, if you enjoy RPGs.

I will say, though, that this bundle does come back from time to time. It has been on sale in the past and probably will be again in the future - there are no guarantees in life, but the D&D games sell very well for GOG so it's a fairly safe bet that it will be back. So if you can't justify getting it right now, you might have another chance down the line.

All that being said - if you're thinking about getting it, and have the means to do so now, I say go for it!

IronArcturus: How is that Unepic game? I read that the screen can be small during gameplay. Did they ever add a scaling option?
I heartily recommend Unepic, it's humor is hit/miss but the light hearted nature of the plot betrays the cruel twists of genre conventions Unepic throws at you. Unepic is a really fun but mean spirited game that will mess with you if you come in expecting to button mash and potion chug your way through. The developer is working on a multiplayer update. I never found the sceen are bothersome, but it is smaller - which may be necessary to see the labyrinth twists and content ahead of you for exploration.

Ok, so I slept through not one but THREE alarm clocks and missed the first 3 hours of the GOGday... :) Hope I didn't miss out on anything. Peering at the main page it appears to confirm what many of us suspected, that today would be at least one of (possibly 2) super mega everything blowout sale days to drain everyone's wallets so nobody has any money left to spend on Steam sales on the 19th and beyond, plus a free game. Boy we really called that one! :)

Personally I gotta say, I really really like these mega blowout sale days where all promos come together on one day all at once, and while I expected it at least once this promo season, I did not expect the flash sales to be running today let alone THIRTY of them at a time with 6 enqueued and waiting! Nicely done GOG, love it! This gives everyone a pretty friggen awesome chance to get EVERYTHING all at once pretty much or certainly a huge pile of stuff all at once with minimal fuss. I haven't went through all the bundles and done my ordering yet but I'm probably going to dump another walletful of Canadian poutine and bacon money into your ever expanding coffers for sure. :)

Thank you very much for doing these combo all-in-one-day bundle super holy shit mega bonanza days GOG, it's one of my personal favourite days of the big promos! I know I'm not alone in saying that too. :)

Now to go fill my cart!
Goggledigooooognastic Summer Sale! :D
Just go(g)t myself the Spellforce-Saga-Pack and that makes game 96 and 97 and 98... Unbeatable bundle for barely 6$! :)

I don't remember and [am at work] so can't check now, but the default zoom was comfortable for me.

I save for days like this so that I can spend a bunch without worrying, and with GOG sales being so cheap, that means if I work through lunch, then I save that lunch money in my "Fun Fund" or skip that coffee, and that will buy me a few games! XD
This is just an amazing sale. So many wonderful games to choose from making it so difficult:)
