With 700+ games discounted up to 90% off, daily special Bundle Deals, a constant stream of exciting Flash Sales, and some fantastic surprise giveaways, we launch into the season of gaming joy!

The biggest celebration of DRM-Free gaming this season is right now, right here on GOG.com! It's warm and nice outside, the summer draws ever closer, so let's make sure it's full of fantastic games. There's no one good way to spend your summer, but we know well that gaming can make every single one of them better. So, whether you plan to stay inside, hike into the wilderness, or take a boat into the calm sea, we'll make sure your laptop is filled with great DRM-Free games you can enjoy anytime, anywhere. To that end, we're holding our [url=http://www.gog.com]2014 DRM-Free Summer Sale!

Each day we'll present you with at least two special Bundle Deals with a selection of of great classics and indies available up to 90% off! As usual, you'll be able to buy just selected titles out of the bundle with a slightly lower discount, or complete your collection with just the ones you're missing, retaining the higher discount rate. Let's take a look at our offers for today, shall we?

Today, we seriously mix things up to bring you both lighthearted comedy as well as dark and morbid horror. The Legacy of Kain Saga is the Full House of gaming with its family themes and colorful presentation. Across four episodes ironically titled Soul Reaver, Soul Reaver 2, Blood Omen 2, and Defiance the series explores the relation between Kain, a authoritative father with obvious god complex, and Raziel, his rebellious son with questionable fashion sense. The story also includes many of their relatives from extended family, that cannot help but to make a mess in their imaginary homeland called Nosgoth. Hilarity ensues! All this cheerful moments for only $5.96 (that's 75% off!). The other of our offers today, is bound to chill the blood in your veins with its terrifying setting alone. The Deponia Complete Trilogy takes place on a distant planet. A planet, that long ago must have been not so different from our own Earth. Yet now, it is a grim and dark place that suffered a tragic environmental disaster. The surface of the planet is now completely covered with waste. Toxic rain flushes the pollution deep into the ground, poisoning it and making the land barren. Way above, there's the remaining enclave of civilization, housing the remnant of the human race. Now imagine one of them, a defenseless girl, falls down to the toxic junkyard below. Even though she doesn't die instantly poisoned with every imaginable toxin, her future looks grim. The wasteland is filled with danger, and soon she'll find out that she is not alone among the towering piles of garbage. What strange mutated monsters could have survived in such conditions? And what do they eat? The horror! All the thrills for just $11.97 (that's 80% off!). There you have it, a mix of laughter and cries of despair to fill your weekend with gripping gaming. Or did we overdo the mixing?

On top of that, almost all of our catalog has been discounted by up to 50%. On top of that, our front page is overflowing with excellent Flash Sales on single games. You can grab them up to 90% as well, but don't take to long, as they come and go pretty fast! Why don't you head out to GOG.com front page, and see what's happening right NOW!

auroraparadox: Is it just a hunch that the Risen series will appear in a daily bundle or do you know for sure?

You can poke forwards and backwards in the thread from that post to see how it all comes together. So far it is 100% accurate, but we don't hold the cards so nothing is 100% certain. Kind of like the stock market, past performance is not indicative of future results. :) The odds are likely in our favour though, at least until they aren't. :)
Thanks for the response. I see what you mean now. I hope the discount is good. GamersGate has a pretty good deal on the series right now. However, I would rather not buy more games that require Steam. I picked up the first Risen from a recent Humble Bundle.

EDIT: I'm impressed that most of the potential bundles have already been revealed. My thanks to everyone who tracked down the images.

What do you think about the Runaway Trilogy? I love point-and-click adventure games, so I'm tempted to get it, but I don't know much about this series so I'm not sure...
I stopped calculating since I bought 50 games from this sale!

I show it as still being 2 hours to go...
If I'm not mistaken, it was announced that Original Sin would be showing up on GOG on June 30 or later. That would make sense to release a big deal game _after_ all of the big Steam/GOG/etc. super mega sales, right at the beginning of a month when many people get their paycheques too rather than right in the middle of several sites bug super promos that have zillions of games on mega sale sucking the money out of everyone's wallets. GOG announced that there would be some surprises such as a contest, and an all day long freebie coming up, and the only days that we have figured out don't have something predicted to happen were the 18th and the 29th all day, and one of the bundle promos is missing from the 28th that is either an unknown or something else is going on that day. Seems unlikely they'd put all of the promotional sales stuff on hold for one day to release a major new blockbuster game or pre-release and then bury it behind the promos returning the next day for a week and a half stealing its thunder. That's just my opinion though. But if they did do that, they'd have to stuff all of the other promotional special sauce they've said they're going to do crammed all into a day or a day and a half covering the 28th/29th, and there's strong historical reasons to speculate the 29th might be an encore sale which wouldn't leave much breathing room for cramming the all day freebie and contest unless they do those on one of the other random days along with the regular daily promos.

So anything is possible but it just seems really unlikely they'd promote Original Sin for one day and then hide it behind 10 days or so of promos then make it surface again. When big new games are coming out they usually get a big promo spot and are highlighted as a feature on the homepage or several days to a week or so, and get a fair bit of promotion, and I don't remember any major releases ever happening right in the middle of a huge seasonal promo off hand. Normally there aren't usually very many if any smaller game releases during these times either because the huge promo steals all the publicity thunder.

From Wikipedia:
"Original Sin was expected to be released in October or November 2013,[5] but was delayed to 28 February, 2014.[6] The release date was subsequently delayed again until 20 June, 2014, and finally to 30 June, 2014."

There's also the possibility it could meet further delay too.

Does anyone have any URLs that point to 100% conclusive statements from GOG.com employees or Larian employees that the game is absolutely going to be released on GOG.com for sure for sure? I thought the regional pricing brouhaha put that a little up in the air but I didn't follow things too closely to be current with what is known on that front.

If someone knows for sure the game is coming here before June 30 and has some links that suggest that it'd be cool to see what's out there, but in lieu of something concrete I'm willing to bet we don't see a hint of Original Sin until June 30 or later after the sale is over, leaving tomorrow available for one or more of GOG's previously advertised but yet unknown things that will fulfill some part of ...

"That's not all we've got in store for you, dear GOGgers! Before the sale is done you can expect a one huge whole-day giveaway, a couple of Flash-giveaways, a contest of gaming knowledge, and more! Lets begin." -- GOG.com promo

But then they could do any zany unexpected thing so there's no way to know for sure... well... except maybe for JMich that is! ;oP

But hey... bring on that Original Sin whenever the gettin's good! If it's tomorrow it'll be a little strange but hey, works for me! :) As good or bad as any of our crazy rambling ideas I suppose, and of course all part of the speculative fun of guessing! :)

Has there been any word on if there will be a pre-order period for Divinity Original Sin on GOG?

So.. I've never actually played a point and click adventure game before... Does anyone have any suggestions for some good ones out of the games that are in the flash sales or upcoming bundles? I really appreciate the help! ;)

Beneath a Steel Sky is a great place to start.
:-) Is Heroes of Might and Magic III and System Shock 2 on the flash list? Been scouting for it since the sale started...
