With 700+ games discounted up to 90% off, daily special Bundle Deals, a constant stream of exciting Flash Sales, and some fantastic surprise giveaways, we launch into the season of gaming joy!

The biggest celebration of DRM-Free gaming this season is right now, right here on GOG.com! It's warm and nice outside, the summer draws ever closer, so let's make sure it's full of fantastic games. There's no one good way to spend your summer, but we know well that gaming can make every single one of them better. So, whether you plan to stay inside, hike into the wilderness, or take a boat into the calm sea, we'll make sure your laptop is filled with great DRM-Free games you can enjoy anytime, anywhere. To that end, we're holding our [url=http://www.gog.com]2014 DRM-Free Summer Sale!

Each day we'll present you with at least two special Bundle Deals with a selection of of great classics and indies available up to 90% off! As usual, you'll be able to buy just selected titles out of the bundle with a slightly lower discount, or complete your collection with just the ones you're missing, retaining the higher discount rate. Let's take a look at our offers for today, shall we?

Today, we seriously mix things up to bring you both lighthearted comedy as well as dark and morbid horror. The Legacy of Kain Saga is the Full House of gaming with its family themes and colorful presentation. Across four episodes ironically titled Soul Reaver, Soul Reaver 2, Blood Omen 2, and Defiance the series explores the relation between Kain, a authoritative father with obvious god complex, and Raziel, his rebellious son with questionable fashion sense. The story also includes many of their relatives from extended family, that cannot help but to make a mess in their imaginary homeland called Nosgoth. Hilarity ensues! All this cheerful moments for only $5.96 (that's 75% off!). The other of our offers today, is bound to chill the blood in your veins with its terrifying setting alone. The Deponia Complete Trilogy takes place on a distant planet. A planet, that long ago must have been not so different from our own Earth. Yet now, it is a grim and dark place that suffered a tragic environmental disaster. The surface of the planet is now completely covered with waste. Toxic rain flushes the pollution deep into the ground, poisoning it and making the land barren. Way above, there's the remaining enclave of civilization, housing the remnant of the human race. Now imagine one of them, a defenseless girl, falls down to the toxic junkyard below. Even though she doesn't die instantly poisoned with every imaginable toxin, her future looks grim. The wasteland is filled with danger, and soon she'll find out that she is not alone among the towering piles of garbage. What strange mutated monsters could have survived in such conditions? And what do they eat? The horror! All the thrills for just $11.97 (that's 80% off!). There you have it, a mix of laughter and cries of despair to fill your weekend with gripping gaming. Or did we overdo the mixing?

On top of that, almost all of our catalog has been discounted by up to 50%. On top of that, our front page is overflowing with excellent Flash Sales on single games. You can grab them up to 90% as well, but don't take to long, as they come and go pretty fast! Why don't you head out to GOG.com front page, and see what's happening right NOW!

park_84: How is it that the Commandos/Desperados bundle is running for 48 hours?
It's not, try refreshing your page.

tinyE: I wish I didn't already have everything else in the Commandos/Desperados collection so that I could snag D2 for $2 which from what I've heard is kind of what it's worth. :P

JMich: And why don't you then?
WTF!
10 minutes ago it wasn't letting me do that. :P It has always let me do it in the past but when it didn't this time I didn't want to raise a stink about it so I just assumed it was a no go.

Cool. :D

Wait....am I talking about buying a game here or something else totally inappropriate?
I just hope they add more games into the sale mix. I mean I'll probably just buy the games I want at the end since everything is like 50% off, but be nice if they added more into the mix.
Oh, it is? So I like it!

I've never played it but I like the way it looks so grotesque. And you say so, I can't wait anymore! Thanks for your comment!

l0rdtr3k: You haven't played Sanitarum?
All I can say that it's one of the most weird and unsettling games of the cataloogue

justanoldgamer: I think that [countdown leading to all bundles] is unlikely, I'm also thinking it's a give away. I do believe there will be a day with all the daily bundles but I don't think they'll put that on a count down.
I hope it's something really "epic" but for kicks...

We do expect no unique bundles are scheduled for the 18th (thanks to participants uncovering promo images for most future bundles) and that last year around Summer Solistice (which is the 19th this year) GOG ran all day simultanious bundles so precident is such to suggest an all bundle day. The GOG original post hints that people who participated in prior sales "surely have your suspicions." Maybe GOG is just being really sneaky and defying their prior traditions... the OP does say "100% gaming love" (<-- is that a hint at 100% discount or just colorful language?).

Also, I think someone commented that a blue text suggested the expected freebie will occur towards the end of the sale.

Maybe that is a slip... if all bundles repeat tomorrow, then it will run for 48 hours [but they just don't want to confirm it yet].

:( Missed Ages Of Wonders 3.

Went to work. Hope it makes an reappearance.
Will the old Sierra games make an appearance at all?

l0rdtr3k: Let me guess: We're gonna have one of those "day long giveaways", right?

Or maybe Disney is hoping aboard the GOG train

I hope it is day long so as in 24 hours I'm going to be at an appointment. :(

Wow, I can travel 24 hours to the future with my F5 key!!! An entire day has passed and I'm on tomorrow!!!

That or maybe it was just a little glitch.
I just want to ask something it may be off-topic but this seems the best place to ask.

Does anyone remember Dune the game? Or where can you buy it? Why does GOG not sell it? It is pretty awesome game and it dates back to 1991. It is a perfect choice for GOG, isn't it?
Woohoo, had a long phone call, got off the phone and came and refreshed the homepage and see the new bundles are up and Jmich is still on par for the course today. Also, after opening a few pages I got my first GOGbear since Insomnia sale or thereabouts finally and for some weird reason I am happy about that. Perhaps happy GOG is selling enough stuff to slow their service down which is good for them financially at least. :)

So the question I ask myself now is... whether I should Runaway or not... :) I'm already tactically enhanced so it's a one show pony for me today. :)

Looks like this is the cheapest deal on these games online on any store to date at $1.99 a piece. Not that I need any more games of that genre, but hey... :)

Decisions... decisions...
Hmm, "something special is coming" it sais on the mainpage with a countdown. What could it be?
GTA 5 preorder? :D

Do you eat at the computer? Maybe there was so much food crumbs under the keys that pressing F5 created enough pressure to create a mini worm hole that lead to the future.

There are problems with licenses for Dune games. The license was lent to EA which can not sell the game if its not allowed by the Dune company, the holder of licenses (Herbert Properties LLC) for Dune franchise. The holder of dune licenses can only allow the resale if EA asks them first and such. Its a legal mess. More about that in the forum below.

BWAAAAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

The moon will collide with the Earth before that happens of course LOL But... I hereby will go on record as saying that if that happens whether it is tomorrow or any time between now and that game being out for 1 year, I will personally buy it at full price for myself, and buy 20 copies of it to give away in the forums or something if I can recover from the shock and bafflement that I'd experience. ;)

It would be about as far as Rockstar could revert their DRM stance from GTA4 as possible. :)
