The biggest celebration of DRM-Free gaming this season is right now, right here on GOG.com! It's warm and nice outside, the summer draws ever closer, so let's make sure it's full of fantastic games. There's no one good way to spend your summer, but we know well that gaming can make every single one of them better. So, whether you plan to stay inside, hike into the wilderness, or take a boat into the calm sea, we'll make sure your laptop is filled with great DRM-Free games you can enjoy anytime, anywhere. To that end, we're holding our [url=http://www.gog.com]2014 DRM-Free Summer Sale!

Each day we'll present you with at least two special Bundle Deals with a selection of of great classics and indies available up to 90% off! As usual, you'll be able to buy just selected titles out of the bundle with a slightly lower discount, or complete your collection with just the ones you're missing, retaining the higher discount rate. Let's take a look at our offers for today, shall we?

Today, we seriously mix things up to bring you both lighthearted comedy as well as dark and morbid horror. The Legacy of Kain Saga is the Full House of gaming with its family themes and colorful presentation. Across four episodes ironically titled Soul Reaver, Soul Reaver 2, Blood Omen 2, and Defiance the series explores the relation between Kain, a authoritative father with obvious god complex, and Raziel, his rebellious son with questionable fashion sense. The story also includes many of their relatives from extended family, that cannot help but to make a mess in their imaginary homeland called Nosgoth. Hilarity ensues! All this cheerful moments for only $5.96 (that's 75% off!). The other of our offers today, is bound to chill the blood in your veins with its terrifying setting alone. The Deponia Complete Trilogy takes place on a distant planet. A planet, that long ago must have been not so different from our own Earth. Yet now, it is a grim and dark place that suffered a tragic environmental disaster. The surface of the planet is now completely covered with waste. Toxic rain flushes the pollution deep into the ground, poisoning it and making the land barren. Way above, there's the remaining enclave of civilization, housing the remnant of the human race. Now imagine one of them, a defenseless girl, falls down to the toxic junkyard below. Even though she doesn't die instantly poisoned with every imaginable toxin, her future looks grim. The wasteland is filled with danger, and soon she'll find out that she is not alone among the towering piles of garbage. What strange mutated monsters could have survived in such conditions? And what do they eat? The horror! All the thrills for just $11.97 (that's 80% off!). There you have it, a mix of laughter and cries of despair to fill your weekend with gripping gaming. Or did we overdo the mixing?

On top of that, almost all of our catalog has been discounted by up to 50%. On top of that, our front page is overflowing with excellent Flash Sales on single games. You can grab them up to 90% as well, but don't take to long, as they come and go pretty fast! Why don't you head out to GOG.com front page, and see what's happening right NOW!

fronzelneekburm: Yeah, but BEEEWBS! Seriously, this is the only AO-rated game on gog (except for Magna Cum Laude, but that's officially rated M on gog, despite being the uncut AO version), that alone is worth the promo asking price.
The Witcher & The Witcher 2 games are very much adult games, with lots of nudity, sex scenes etc. The latter game's bonus materials come with a playboy spread of one of the characters (Triss).
So... Kentucky Route Zero says the whole game will be the length of a summer night... I don't know about you guys, but here in Hungary that's EXTREMELY short. So in numbers, how many minutes does a single act take to complete?
I can't resist such a Rayman promo!
Back to the Future will be up in a while and as I'm slightly interested, I wonder:
-Is it a good game? That is, is it funny, are the puzzles/riddles easy enough, but still challenging, is it close to the spirit of the movie etc ?
-Are the system requirements listed on the GOG page accurate ? That is, will I be able to run it on the lowest-at least- graphical settings on a laptop with 1.8 ghz processor and a 2GB RAM, as stated in the lowest system requirements in the product page? I'm asking that one because I absolutely hate buying a game and then not being able to run it.( and yes, I'm aware that I can contact support, but they can't do much if it's my PC that is at fault for not meeting the requirements).
Thank you for your consideration. :-)

Lemon_Curry: Update from mrkgnao:
Just noticed this change in MaGog's logs: Risen and Risen 2 (both versions and the DLC) all got a 50% discount, which wasn't there before. FYI.
Source: http://www.gog.com/forum/general/2014_drmfree_summer_sale_tracker/post1325
The Risen series will appear in a daily bundle for a deeper discount on June 23rd. Probably anywhere from 60-80% off although we don't know the exact amount until the sale starts (or someone figures out how to obtain that info).

Looks like 1 to 1.5 hours. Indeed, that is pretty incredibly short.

Treasure:
I'll avoid spoilers, but I enjoyed it, if feels like an extension of the films (with original cast where possible) and made me laugh quite a lot.

As to the tech, I'd speculate you could, but dont really know for sure.

Great ! Well, I guess I'll buy it then, and see later what will happen regarding the system requirements. Thanks a lot for your helpful answer! :-).
GOG must be making a killing during this sale for sure. Normally I can download at a continuous rate of 6.4MB/s but my download rate is fluctuating between 2-2.8MB/s from their servers, quite the foot on the garden hose going on hehe. Good to see the site is pushing the limits of the infrastructure a bit though, and I'm not seeing any GOGbears on the website which is a good thing too.

Looks like I still need to free up another 20GB to download the rest of my new goodies. Gonna be a busy day.. :)

Wow, downloads slowed down to under 100kB/s now. Good thing I am just archiving and not biting my nails to play these right away hehehe. I have to admit though that it would be much more thrilling to watch them download in GOG Downloader <GOG: hint hint... no pressure... hint hint> :)

Age of Wonders 3 Deluxe is coming up. What is your opinion on this title, folks?
Someone please tell me I didn't miss Knock Knock or Magrunner going lower than 5 bucks!!!!
So, is Overlord + Raising Hell any good?
I passed over it on the last round, but now I'm rethinking my decision.
Opinions, please?

From the trailer and screenshots it looks incredible. I've got far too many unplayed turn based RPGs to finish already though I'm afraid. :) Perhaps I'll grab it during GOG Summer Sale 2015 or 2016 though. :)

I played Overlord for a night or two and it was pretty fun. A buddy who collects games but never plays them more than a few minutes each said the Overlord games were one of the only game series that he actually played and finished start to finish which encouraged me to grab them in a Steam sale somewhere last year. It has a bit of a feel of being a console game ported to PC (or built with that sort of feel) but it's actually cool to get into. It's kind of got a bit of a god-like Dungeon Keeper feel to it, with more of a hack'n'slash type fighting interface, with a hint of Lemmings 3D to it. The world is nice to roam around in and nicer than a lot of other games I've played that have a kind of dull boring outdoors setting. The parts of the game I have seen so far reminds me of The Shire from Lord of the Rings and has that sort of feel to it sort of.

Edit: Correction - Knock-Knock is on the flash sale rotation at $1.99.

Magrunner has been on sale for lower than $4.99 (50%) during the Summer sale so far. Based on speculation the flash sales will recycle and because someone uncovered pictures of daily bundles, it seems unlikely Knock Knock or Magrunner will decrease below that standard 50% discount (but you never know) during this sale... both have been cheaper than that in the past.

Bought it during a Codemasters promo a while ago because I was intrigued by the concept of an action game that allows you to let your minions do the fighting for you. Didn't expect much from it, but it quickly became one of my absolute favourite games on gog. Be aware though that it's more of a parody of your typical fantasy RPG tropes. Personally, I hate stereotypical WOW-style fantasy settings, so I had an absolute blast burning the (satirically self-aware) stereotypical fantasy setting of "Overlord" down to the ground.
