The biggest celebration of DRM-Free gaming this season is right now, right here on GOG.com! It's warm and nice outside, the summer draws ever closer, so let's make sure it's full of fantastic games. There's no one good way to spend your summer, but we know well that gaming can make every single one of them better. So, whether you plan to stay inside, hike into the wilderness, or take a boat into the calm sea, we'll make sure your laptop is filled with great DRM-Free games you can enjoy anytime, anywhere. To that end, we're holding our [url=http://www.gog.com]2014 DRM-Free Summer Sale!

Each day we'll present you with at least two special Bundle Deals with a selection of of great classics and indies available up to 90% off! As usual, you'll be able to buy just selected titles out of the bundle with a slightly lower discount, or complete your collection with just the ones you're missing, retaining the higher discount rate. Let's take a look at our offers for today, shall we?

Today, we seriously mix things up to bring you both lighthearted comedy as well as dark and morbid horror. The Legacy of Kain Saga is the Full House of gaming with its family themes and colorful presentation. Across four episodes ironically titled Soul Reaver, Soul Reaver 2, Blood Omen 2, and Defiance the series explores the relation between Kain, a authoritative father with obvious god complex, and Raziel, his rebellious son with questionable fashion sense. The story also includes many of their relatives from extended family, that cannot help but to make a mess in their imaginary homeland called Nosgoth. Hilarity ensues! All this cheerful moments for only $5.96 (that's 75% off!). The other of our offers today, is bound to chill the blood in your veins with its terrifying setting alone. The Deponia Complete Trilogy takes place on a distant planet. A planet, that long ago must have been not so different from our own Earth. Yet now, it is a grim and dark place that suffered a tragic environmental disaster. The surface of the planet is now completely covered with waste. Toxic rain flushes the pollution deep into the ground, poisoning it and making the land barren. Way above, there's the remaining enclave of civilization, housing the remnant of the human race. Now imagine one of them, a defenseless girl, falls down to the toxic junkyard below. Even though she doesn't die instantly poisoned with every imaginable toxin, her future looks grim. The wasteland is filled with danger, and soon she'll find out that she is not alone among the towering piles of garbage. What strange mutated monsters could have survived in such conditions? And what do they eat? The horror! All the thrills for just $11.97 (that's 80% off!). There you have it, a mix of laughter and cries of despair to fill your weekend with gripping gaming. Or did we overdo the mixing?

On top of that, almost all of our catalog has been discounted by up to 50%. On top of that, our front page is overflowing with excellent Flash Sales on single games. You can grab them up to 90% as well, but don't take to long, as they come and go pretty fast! Why don't you head out to GOG.com front page, and see what's happening right NOW!

real.geizterfahr: I don't think so... 60 Euro is 81 Dollar. 45 Dollar in the US and 80 Dollar in Europe seems to be a bit beyond normal regional pricing, doesn't it?

For me it's 30 bucks as well (frontpage and gamecard).
Now it shows $45 for me for the full price and $30 reduced... No more $62 as it was...
Some great discounts in the flash sales.

This will empty my prepaid creditcard. Curious to see how my new creditcard will deal with several low price buys in a relatively short period.

No Jack Keane 2 flash sale? How disappointing.
There is one strange thing in this summer sale.

In some countries (like Russia), Age of Wonders III Deluxe Edition is actually MORE EXPENSIVE during the promo. The basic price is $24,99, but during the promo the price is $29,99 everywhere.

Mr_Chaos: I am a bit sad that AoE 3 was very expensive for me a few months ago (~ €50) at GoG.com and now, just a few months later... well, 30 bucks would be more than 50% discount. :[
AoE? Age of Empires? Or did you mean AoW? Age Of Wonders 3. Regardless, it's the nature of software. Only buy a game at release if you absolutely cannot wait to play it. Wait a few months and you'll almost always save something, if not a lot...
No free game this time?

Enebias: Seeing the trend of GOG sales, I probably won't survive the year. Please, write this on my epitaph: "Poor in money, rich in games; born a simple player, died DRM-free".

Well, good thing I was awake at midnight... Darn you Gog.

From the OP:
That's not all we've got in store for you, dear GOGgers! Before the sale is done you can expect a one huge whole-day giveaway, a couple of Flash-giveaways, a contest of gaming knowledge, and more! Lets begin.

Elmofongo: Is Divinity 2 like Elder Scrolls and Risen? Seamless Open World Action RPG?
avatar
NoNewTaleToTell: It's not a seamless open world, but each area is fairly large. If you're thinking of getting Divinity II: Developer's Cut, it has my recommendation. In my opinion Divinity II: Developer's Cut is one of the best games of its type and is clearly above Skyrim, Risen and (unpopular opinion time) The Witcher. It's well written (including story, characters and dialogue), challenging, has actual choices/consequences and is just a great game all around. The only complaint I have about it is that it does have some random difficulty spikes at times.
To late though I got Two Worlds over Divinity 2 because of the lack of a true open world, but I am gonna miss out on Dragon Slaying :(

I had to get a Paypal because my credit card holder locked my card for "suspicious activity" during a sale once. xD

Resil: Hey

50% will stay until the end of the Summer promo with the small exception on The Swapper, which discount ends on 21st.
Hey there!

How long will the Summer Sale last?

That's another reason why I use Paysafecard. Already bought 5 games. And since they're all gift keys, I made 5 transactions as well. This'll get your card blocked immediately.
SiN is next! Yes! Love that game.
So just like last summer, if I miss out on a deal today will it appear again later, or will the deals probably not repeat because they're flash deals?

I feel sorry for anyone at work who's missing a 2 hour deal :(

If I had money in the bank I'd get Age of Wonders III Deluxe. I wish there was an IOU system ;D

I'll have money in there by tonight though. Maybe I'll get lucky and it will "flash" again later :)
Oh no. So soon.
