I should have been clearer in my reply - I was actually agreeing with you. Although overall the sale was fairly good, its a shame that it didn't have more life and we had to see the same titles so many times.

And thanks for your comment vis a vis my contribution to things ;-)
Ah, don't mind me, I'm a bit under the weather today.

The most times a Flash Deal appeared was 6-7 times, with most appearing 4-5 times. So, yeah for the regulars it was overdose.

moonshineshadow: This. Sale was quite good but pacing was annoying. And while I liked the stamp thing, the flood of postings related to that which are even coming in now made me question if that was really a smart way to give away a free game and movie ;-)
So back to the Insomnia thread from last year until a new tracker thread for winter sale starts :D
Even the stamps game didn't require one to visit daily or to keep visiting after the first week, if they collected all stamps during the first seven days.

Basically, the sale lacked in the socialising department, so everyone be proud of yourselves for sticking together in this thread anyway. :-)

EDIT: And I just noticed that BillyMaysFan59 got a public GOGWiki Wishlist - welcome to the club! I do have to say though, that you need to spice up that wishlist a bit. :-)

Hope you perk up for the next sale, my friend, and be proud of yourself - you're one of the stalwarts who make the forum a place worth spending a lot of time ;-)
I still miss insomnia....

That's right. Just look at that wishlist with its reasonably constructed amount of games and its lack of general hoarder insanity! That's all wrong!

Kinda going stir crazy at work. Missing something to check every 15 or so minutes.

I also wish i had something constructive/interesting to add.

I am proud. Sticking together in a slow paced sale made me get to know the people in this thread a little better. Overall, I enjoyed it.

So, now that we have been through all this together, anyone want to help me pick a new username?

Hey, everybody - a new game!

OK, what kind of games do you like, what are you into (don't say leather - at least not openly) why do you want to change your username anyway? Lets have some info so we can start making suggestions...

Believe it or not, the first version of my edit was along the lines "please take a look at CarrionCrow's Wishlist to see how a juicy wishlist looks like and then proceed to make the necessary amendments". :-D

Ooh -ooh, why not? What do you want your new username to say about you?

EDIT: Also, what the Bard asked.

Why do you want to change your username? Did we scare you so much that you need to hide from us? :D
Speaking of knowing people better, I take off my space-cowboy beret off to Stilton's and Hyper's crazy insanity madness.

Admirable and inspiring. manly tears were shed at the sheer beauty of it all. A gift from the old ones themselves.

This is for you

I've regretted picking my username since... 10 minutes after I picked it.
I wanted to go with "Radam". That is what my friends call me, and what I use on other sites. But it was already taken, so I just went with my first name and last initial. I quickly realized that I didn't like my username being my real name.

My favorite genre is FPS. I love espionage games. My two favorite games are No One Lives Forever and Deus Ex.
I'm into flannel pants, peanut butter, the TV show 24, and the band They Might Be Giants.

I have several mental illnesses, and am afraid to leave my house.

What about 'Number Three'

A Giants song and an espionage kind of name; reminds me of Man From U.N.C.L.E and the like. It does, however sound kind of flat, so if you think its crap I won't be offended ;-)

'Particle Man' sounds pretty good. Could be some fun there.
