Tekkaman-James: I decided to go through the entire game list and see if I bumped into anything interesting. I'm not completely through yet, but I did see a new pre-order item that was never announced:

Mount & Blade: Warband - Viking Conquest DLC
I thought I saw it the first day, when M&B was featured - but then it sort of became lost in the sale shuffle. You didn't happen to notice if there a release date yet did you?

Ixamyakxim:
Unfortunately, no. It just says "Soon".

Mount & Blade: Warband - Viking Conquest DLC

Considering the recent addition of the Mount & Blade series and its respective bundle in the current sale, I thought this might peak the interest of some people here. I'll be sure to report on anything else I find as I dig through the catalog.
But it was announced. From the Mount & Blade announcement:

"With the sound of a thousand horses riding in furious gallop and warriors shouting their battlecry from the top of their lungs, the Mount & Blade series storms GOG.com! For the next 48 hours you can sign up for a free copy of the original Mount & Blade on the GOG.com front page. You can also grab all the remaining titles in the Mount & Blade Series, that is Warband, With Fire and Sword, and Napoleonic Wars bundled up to 75% off. That's only $10.97* for the entire Mount & Blade collection (including the first one in the series that comes free). Finally, you can pre-order the upcoming Mount & Blade: Warband - Viking Conquest DLC, expected to launch mid-December, 20% off!"

On that note - how's that adventure bundle? The Wadjet (sp?) one? I'm not a point and click person, especially an "old school" one (once in a while I'm sucked in by one with gorgeous visuals and a different / unique story). The reviews seem good and I like the off beat subject matter. Things I don't like in adventure games: obtuse inventory puzzles (The duck combined with a hamburger will NEVER, EVER turn on a broken light! Your game is stupid for making me think it should!).
The visuals are pretty retro but the stories are very good and rather compelling. The puzzles are, to me, for the most part logical.
As far as the duck is concerned I had a duck that loved hamburgers, had I tied one to a light switch I guarantee it would have worked! ;)

It was announced on the news of Mount & Blade Release but most people stop reading and went to pick up Mount & Blade and never went back to reading the news.
I think you make a good point. I bought a fair number of games at what I thought was a good price, got a game and movie for free. It was a successful sale. For us sale pros, it becomes a bit boring, as we have the wherewithal and past knowledge to get what we want in a sale in an expedited fashion.

We do need to consider the more casual Goger who will only stop by a few times a day. They are unlikely to get everything they might want, but the sale needs to accommodate them enough so they can get much of what they wish for.

Besides, if there was much more this sale, would we then become less happy about the upcoming Holiday Sale?
Now the damages:
Counting the free games (one of which I can gift), purchases and 1 gift received (TY CC! ) I scored 16 games and 1 movie. All for less than 30 dollars. Can't complain a bit. :-)

You are probably right. My mistake, everyone. Carry on!

Not a problem. Enjoy the game. =)
Also, a question - on your list it says you're missing SOTS The Pit - Pilgrim. Would that mean you're also without the new Juggernaut portion of the game as well?

Okay, whoops....Got ninja'd by an updated wishlist. Oh, the embarrassment....-laughs-

:-) Just now updated it. I grabbed the Pilgrim DLC and Hogs of War as my final purchases. Juggernaut was added to my shelf for free by GOG, it still errors out when I try to DL it though. :|
Is that a good deal on Eschalon? I can't find if it was in the summer sale or not, but looks interesting. (yes, I checked isthereanydeal, but they don't seem to do very well tracking gog bundle sales)

A lady named Katya mentioned that she saw it on her library but she couldn't download it a few days ago. On my screen, it's listed at a 1.99 price. Looks like they've got some kind of image glitch or....something. But it does have a price attached, so it's not going to be a freebie.

It filled in the notorious 'blank spot' on several peoples shelves. I had read somewhere that this was to be free to owners of the Gold Edition but this has been the most screwed up DLC I ever seen. Been going on for months now. :/

Same. I did an account refresh and it went away.

They also had an Eschalon deal at the summer sale, but it had a 75% discount, as opposed to the current 80%.
