JaqFrost: But... the just because rule of English grammar is the best one!
It's not English I'm having terrified flashbacks of. English grammar is toddler building blocks compared to the lego technic I suffered through.

Pardon for jumping in, but I am curious:

In your experience, are there any other languages besides English that are guilty of doing things just because? If so, how is that aspect of of them compared to English's?
So, we're going into Day Eleven with three repeats (Rogue Trooper, Pathologic and Ether One Deluxe Edition). Not a promising sign.

I'm starting to wonder if that 250+ Flash Deals in the newsletter is a typo.

Starting to look like it eh? Or unless there is a flash of new ones all with shorter time slots etc....

Or an excuse to keep people watching the sale. But who knows, maybe the last few days will feature the additional titles.
Just got the GOG Bear I wonder how AvP 2000 and The Witcher Adventure Game are going on service?

HypersomniacLive: Don't be so serious, takes all the fun out of gifting, ninja-gifting, stealth-gifting and gifting wars. ;-D

jackster79: Like Hypersomniac says, just relax and enjoy it. It is all in good fun and spirit. :-)
Too late! This ailment is incubating inside me. :-)

A side note to everyone: If you live in a condo and someday you are asked to become the apartment manager... don't do it.

Nah, I have a feeling that you actually enjoy it! (◕‿↼)

In a deep dark wet bunker that no one can enter or at least take a peak inside, I assume. ;-)

Now that I think about it a bit more, that "250+" does ring a bell. Wasn't that how it was worded for the Summer Sale?
I wouldn't put it past GOG to have just coped/ pasted it and neglected to adjust it to this sale.

The newsletter reads like the Flash Deals will end tomorrow at 14:00 GMT, at which time the bundles' encore will start.

I was wondering since yesterday if 250 flash deals meant 250 different flash deals. :-/

I'm sure there's a cure for it. Here take this blue pill! ;-P

If that just means multiple rehashes of the same Flash Deals we had for the past nine days, then it's a really lame and misleading way to put it. Not to mention that the "Finale" would actually be a "3-4 last chances for each". Hmm... now that I said this, it's kind of a more relaxed Insomnia format with all three rounds ending in 48hrs.

I take it you have never studied any romance languages? Their just because rules and exceptions are everywhere, to the point that sometimes they seem to outnumber the regularities.

English grammar is orderly (yes german speakers I just said that, stop scoffing) compared to most romance languages. Latin from which they evolved was a royal pain in the neck with the seemingly unlimited number of declensions. But they had a system, a method to the madness. Romance languages chucked that out of the window.

I thought we were trying for Hidden Object Games.
