Torin68: how many games usually show up for the weekend sale? Are we assuming GOG will roll that into the Fall Sale?
Figuring that they'll focus on the multi-bundle recap over pushing a standard weekend sale in between. Usually, weekend sales are in maybe the 20 or so range.

No clue what you just said, aside from the "must to bed" part. -laughs-
Sleep well when you get there. Goodnight. =)
As near as I can tell from Google:
Oyasumi - Good Night
Ashita - Tomorrow
All right, might as well get this up to date while waiting to see what happens when the current string ends.

Hard to imagine anyone doing that when there are ways to save money all over the place right now. Maybe if whatever game is an absolute must have it right now for whatever reason sort of thing.
well xwing tie fighter, war of mine, shadows heretic kingdoms etc are holding their own despite the flash sale onslaught ;)

Im staring hard at Shadows HK even with only a 20% discount - who knows when it will be on sale next .i think i made a booboo not buying Starpoint Gemini which had a similar discount at launch... lol

i guess im more concerned with the games with ordinary discount which don't get discounted/go on sale very much ie the Arx Fatalis's (not even on discount again) of this world :P

So far only the rest of the SOTS: The Pit dlc

I'm holding off on those until the very end. Those of interest not showing up during flash will likely be purchased before the sale's end :)

They've got me on this one. No more coin to put into it, and they're way ahead even if I did. Will have to see how much of my wishlist shows up during Winter so I can get a better haul out of the sale. -laughs-
Should I buy The Longest Journey? I was reading IAmSinistar's post about how he is a genre omnivore and it got me thinking about my biases:

I'm not a point & click adventure gamer; they tend to bore me with the backtracking and pixel hunting and whatnot. Yet, I always seem drawn to them when there's a sale or release -- it might be the often very pretty graphics or that there's an actual story there, or that I do like puzzles and the like in RL, but whenever I've tried playing one of these games... meh.

I keep thinking that I'm probably missing something, that I'm just too dumb to understand the charm of adventure games. =/

If you're not a fan of P&C adventure games then this might be lost on you. However, this one does have a great story which is what makes this one very popular. Some genres aren't for everyone. Doesn't make you dumb by any means :)

Well, there are genres which don't speak to me at all, like beat 'em ups and platformers -- they're just not for me, mainly because I'm not so good at anything twitchy. Frantic or timed challenges tend to just stress me out, but adventure games seem to be too slow and tedious. I tried Syberia, which I know is a popular one too, and just hated it. I wanted to stab the main character with something blunt... repeatedly. On the other hand, I quite liked Resonance up until the point where the plot twist turned into one big lazy cheat on the part of the writers.

I want to like them and when I end up not so much, I feel like I failed. I'm not sure that even makes sense...
