I finally started Alan Wake this evening, which I bought during the Pot of Gold promo back in March (you know, the promo that seduced me into joining in on the forums here? XD )

Nice and scary, fascinating plot, and pretty easy-to-understand controls, but I'm already having troubles with it getting past some enemies. lol~ Chalk it up to being tired; I'll probably do just fine with it tomorrow ^__^

Glad I bought it, and glad to finally be playing it!

Its a nice game. The shadow guys coming out cause me to jump a few times. Hard as well (who else runs out of bullets and torchlight at the same time? me!!!)........ill get back to it one day. the journal notes give it a good dose of atmosphere too...

Frustration might have sunk in if you kept beating your head against that wall while fatigued. Alan dodges like he's got a broken hip, at least on the console version.

Have Abe's Exoddus and Dreamfall gone through their final round yet? I just picked up Abe's Oddysee and The Longest Journey and was hoping I could still catch the sequels on flash sale.

donsanderson mentioned an email earlier. Checked my inbox and it had the same one. The bundle recap starts Sunday at update, and goes until Tuesday update.

Figuring they'll come out with at least one or two more Lucasarts items as it gets closer to the end of the year. No clue what they would be exactly, though.

Looks like Abe's Exoddus was the first one to go for good today, unfortunately. No sign of Dreamfall yet, though.

Well, if nothing else, at least I can still pick it up discounted-ish ($3.00). Better that than Dreamfall ($7.50).

I didn't even notice until he mentioned it. Think my email notifications are broken or something. But yeah, just tomorrow's two-pack and then the recap the day after.
Figuring that every bundle item from this sale won't be included next month. Already very interested in seeing what GOG's going to bring to the table.
