yyahoo: I guess I'm missing some backstory. Was it listed as free for a while?

IAmSinistar: Apparently it appeared on some folks' shelves, but without any downloadable content. So this led to speculation that it was a free add-on. GOG has reported having a number of problems adding it to the system, to the point where they needed to code a special solution for it, so its final form is still a mystery.

I'm holding off on buying it for now, in case it is meant to be free. Also, a purchase now while it's in flux is a bad idea.
Ah, that makes sense. This whole DLC thing has been somewhat of a nightmare for GOG, particularly with SOTS. I don't know how it is now, but there was a time that unless you followed a very particular instruction set when installing all of the DLC, the game would not work properly...

Speaking of, every single piece of SOTS software is in its own sequentially labeled folder on my desktop, just because of the whole "installed it in the wrong order? too frigging bad it's all broken now" issue.

IAmSinistar: So for it's following the expected pattern, [snip]

Hardly the big shake-up they made it sound like.
I need more coffee as I appear to have genki-goggles on. Thought you wrote rectal pattern. Oy vey
These Flash Deals don't have nearly enough Flash.

yyahoo: I guess my perspective is that some people expect consistency *within* a sale. That's all.
The slogan says "Discounts up to 90%", no mention of the word consistency anywhere >_<
And more of the expected. Oh GOG, I wanted to believe you...

Now there's a movie that needs more love. Glad to see they released it on blu-ray. :)

Queen is(was) truly one of a kind. It's fantastic what they could do with a single note. I love that bass.

I have a feeling the new flashes will wait til tomorrow.

Here's some info on Juggernaut:

This format with 30 titles on the front page makes it only more painful to see the occasional title one doesn't have/ want among a flood of "owned" ones.

How on earth are we going to reach 250+ Flash Deals till Sunday if no new ones pop-up?

Not sure if only coffee will do the trick... Perhaps give CarrionCrow's recipe a try.

Maybe the duration will reduce from 40 to 30 minutes, or maybe more than three games will appear at a time. Or maybe it will suddenly turn into a last minute insomnia sale :-).

No wonder you find this sale boring, I own three games from the current crop. :P
