RWarehall: This could be a trial run to make sure there is no big uproar. Throw a game or two in, and see how many complain

But anyway, spreadsheet up to date
GoG - 2014 DRM_FREE BIG FALL SALE
Some preliminary predictions for Day 9 as well...
Thank you!
Let's see if some people here are still alive/awave to give me some suggestions.
So I am feeling like playing a strategy game again, but I can't really decide which so I would appreciate some help. Here is what I played to give you an idea what I might like:
- Settlers 2: Love that game, but I don't like the graphics of the newer ones
- Anno 1602 was nice and tried the next one (1503), but the changed mechanic about earning money put me off and also I was never that much a fan of the fighting mechanics
- Zeus and Poseidon (Acropolos): had much fun with it
- Banished: played it recently since so many people here recommended it, but honestly I am not into strategy games without missions, I need something to do/complete
Yellow everyone! How are you fine people doing today?

And I see a new title popped up a while ago - wow, that's like what? One new game every two days? I don't think I can handle so much excitement. ;-P

And a little recap for IAmSinistar to complete the list for Day Eight.

If you liked Zeus give this a look:

Lovely game.

ddickinson: I'm surprised GOG does not offer more movies in the flash sale, or maybe a movie bundle. I would think it would be a good way to try and encourage people to try the movies, as many seem to be put off because they are mostly indie documentaries. The movies don't really interest me, I'm here for the DRM free games, but I'm sure there are quite a few people who would be interested in a movie bundle.
And then watch all the people die off after complaining "bring back the games.. we want games!!" :P

Lovely game.
If I understand this correctly, you also have to manage the NPCs lifes? How much of the game is about that and how much is building up the city etc?

It's mostly about building up the city, buildings near enough by to keep people happy, some resource management. Good game.

Great thanks :-)
Let's see if the tiny chance for this game to be on flash sale becomes real :D

Yep, I'm surprised they haven't had more and better sales on the films as well.

I'm sure many of us here spend more time buying, reading, and talking about gaming than actually gaming.

What about Children of the Nile ? If you like Zeus and Poseidon, you might also like Pharaoh ? I haven't tried COTN yet, but it has good reviews...

[EDIT] Sorry I'm a bit late. I hadn't read the previous posts :)

So, one new game in the mix. The new Flash Deals are coming out about as often as new releases used to. Not good. Worse, I'm starting to suspect some might indeed be one-offs. It's gonna suck if that's the case.

Let's see what bundles today brings.

LaPtiteBete: So they should make two "flash sales" at the same time, and separate movies and games... not mix them ! that's confusing. And desappointing, for those who are not interested in movies... :-|
Not two flash sales, just mix in the odd movie now and then. They have already featured at least one movie, so it seems strange they didn't include more. Also, I know many would be disappointed that it was a movie and not a game that came up next, but GOG isn't here to cater just for them, they are trying to cater for everyone, including those who enjoy the movies.

Personally, I don't care about the movies, I was just mentioning the movies from a business point of view. I would think this would be a perfect time to try to highlight them, especially as the sale has attracted many new customers.

Ah yes, there is that. But at least it would liven up the place a little :-).

At least, there is a new release. I'm sure you will like it.
I should have bought Rogue Legacy... I regret.
27 minutes left !
Time to make some more coffee... 3__3

Nymes: Heroes Of Annihilated Empires is a new Flash Sale, if I am not mistaken. Hope for a change? :)
Never say it's done, you still may find something new, which is worth to buy. :)

Better not, please! Don't mix up things even more.
