I think there's going to be a flurry of orders on the last day as people finally get the games they've been hoping will appear on the flash sales at their base discount rate, but it's been a bit meh right now. *cough* Giants: Citizen Kabuto! *cough*

I now own all the games I want from the flash sales apart from Pathologic, and I'm a bit put off because of the inept English language localization. I also pledged for the recent KS Pathologic remake campaign.

Okay, the unblinking eye of Sanitarium is starting to get to me. I may need to attempt to placate it by buying the game.

As there's no video on the game's page and I don't want to potentially spoil myself by looking something up on YouTube, can anyone here give me a rundown on what this game is like? It seems like a Point & Click, but the game is not categorized as such here. Am I wrong in my assumption?

It was rather flattering in a sort of...well...uh...kinda...nice way. ;)

Well, from everything I've heard, it's a pretty amazing psychological horror-based point and click. Between enjoying that genre so much and hearing/seeing so many people sing its praises, I was quite comfortable with purchasing it a while back.

I sat on the fence for a while before I got it, and while I haven't played much, it really does suck you in. It was made when developers had something they wanted to say and is very earnest, but in a good way. Plenty of unsettling implications to keep you wondering what its all about and grisly imagery and locations that will have you thinking, Why? Huh? What? But...

At this price, if I didn't have it already, I would certainly go for it.

Hopefully. Having nothing more to look forward to than the slim possibility of single entries being used as minute substitutes for the status quo is more than a little disheartening.
