some other things i wanted [unepic, etc] were trapped in bundles where i didn't want any of the other games, just the one game, but at the point where you eliminated the other games, the one game became "not worth it." and i didn't want to sit on codes that are giftable but may go wrong.

In what way, could they go wrong? They certainly would not expire.

that's a bit of a missed opportunity, i feel. they could at least have had people come back once every twenty four hours who weren't necessarily interested in the bundles.

Aah, it wouldn't be a GOG sale without the Ultima bundle! Although from looking at my shelf it would appear somebody forgot to add Underworld 1+2 to the collection this time.

since they're not split codes, you're basically at the mercy of/trusting the other party to play nice and only redeem the one code. i like the gog community, you're awesome dudes, but there are a handful of bad apples here.

[i find this problematic about the gifting system, actually. it'd be nice if they did the following: when you buy a giftable order, you get one big meta code. the meta code exists so that if you feel you want to, you can gift the entire order to someone else. contained within the meta code, it gives "subcodes" for each item on the list. that way, i can give the "subcode" out to someone and not have to worry about them being a scammer or the like and stealing /all/ of the item.]

At this point just waiting to see if the projections will be correct three times in a row while thinking that it's a pretty sure sign your random sale's gone sideways if the pattern's been cracked halfway through.
Recurring theme. The Bullfrog bundle was cut back a bit as well. It's like we're occasionally being presented with almost complete versions of Summer/Winter sale bundles.

I mean, I will be right probably 90% of the time now. There are a few curveballs as GoG has 11 extra games in the sale and inserts them into the various lists. So I will not always be correct.

The Heroes bundle was also incomplete, as it lacked Heroes Chronicles. I wouldn't be surprised if a possible Might & Magic bundle is missing Crusaders.

Fifty-fifty shot on that one being as you said. I know the HoMM bundle didn't contain it. Maybe if they do a Might and Magic series bundle, but the way things are going, I think it's doubtful.

Thinking that the ultimate problems with this promo are two-fold - GOG hyping it as bigger than it is in regards to bundles and flash sales combined with it running longer than it should. They probably should've kept it as a one-week sale. The stamps concept would fit then, and the collective burnout would have been mitigated by the feeling of winding down.
