eiii: Chatty bunch! :P 20 pages since last night. :) I give up, no way to catch up.
You don't need to. :P
How about 1849 (eleven minutes to seven in modern parlance), has anyone played it?
I think The Gamers just became our "movie to watch" for tonight. My husband had the same reaction to the trailer that I did the first time I saw it: Hysterical laughter. We have known, gamed with, and/or been every one of those characters. *g*

Finally gave in and picked up Evoland, too; since discovering yesterday that I have $200/month less in student loan payments, money has become (slightly) less tight. Yay! Still sort of wish I'd picked up the Spiderweb set, since I keep looking at them, but I'm not sure when I'd ever get around to playing them. Temptation, why can't you at least pretend to have some logic behind you??

LynetteC: Ooh, good news. That means there's still hope for a reappearance of Dragonfall. :-)

Tekkaman-James: Of course the game shows up while you're certainly asleep. I don't want you to miss it again, so be sure to check your PMs. Don't fuss about it. You can make it up to me later.
Just catching up after an absolute stinker of a day at work - we had three managers in today so I've had very little chance to check the site and I scored an unexpected (and not altogether wanted) promotion to office Fire Marshall so finding this in my inbox is a fantastic surprise most gratefully received. +1 to you my friend and rest assured l will be looking for any opportunity to repay your amazing thoughtfulness and generosity. :-)

Oh, there's logic. It's just completely irrational logic.
Since it's the last day of the sale, what games are you going to buy that haven't featured in the Flash sales?
I'm looking at Giants: Citizen Kabuto, Jagged Alliance 2: Unfinished Business & Descent: Freespace Battlepack.

ptasiek83: Well I have two 2 bookstands 80x28x202 cm for games, two 40x28x106 cm just for consoles and game controllers and I am filling in 80x28x106 cm with games.

I am about to catalogue all my game collection but after Xbox, X360, PS3, NES, SNES and Amiga games I gave up with the PC since it would take way too long. Not mentioning Origin, Steam and Uplay accounts. Still planning for PS2 and possibly PS1 and Sega Genesos and Dreamcast.

gamesfreak64: wow..... you won, i cant beat those numbers.... :D
you spent a long time collecting these i assume?
Well, my oldest purchases are Frontier, Wing Commander, Powermonger, The Clue and some other less known Polish games for Amiga (still got original A600 fine and running, but Commodore monitor has some issues), then 1942 Pacific Air War FDD for PC. To be honest those were bought by my grandparents. I just started of hardcore collecting few years ago catching up to my childhood when I could not afford many games, since you know, living in Poland kind of sucks. Fortunately I was able to get Arcanum and Fallout Trilogy from USA recently (in Poland it is hard to get English versions of games) in boxes sealed and new. Still struggling to get Morrowind. Recently I ordered one but I got TES Onlinte instead. Pretty much a heartbreaker. I have got many years to catch up. Unfortunately many games are either silly expensive (SWOS in box) or straight up unavailabe. That is why I love GOG and still buy games I own physically (Wing Commander, Arcanum, Witcher, etc...)

How about you? Long time into collecting?

LynetteC:
D'aww. T'weren't nuthin'. Sorry to hear you had a crummy day, but glad that I was able to put a silver lining on it. ^_^

I will let you know post-haste if something catches my fancy. So far today, aside from the bundles, it's been a real snooze-fest. -_-;

Ooops. My bad. This is what you get when you don't sleep. :P

I was about to ask you what news from the future you bring to us. :-)
I'd better go to bed. I'm getting pretty tired.
Does anyone else sleep from 2pm-11pm? I love it. I've been feeling a lot better mentally since doing it.

I didn't post much today, but it's been fun anyway. I was even lucky enough to be able to buy a game :) (I feel bad for betraying my fellow non-buyers, but I had to trust my instincts! I'm sorry!)

See you tomorrow.
Jeez, I love my local brewery....
