MaxFulvus: So, a massive The Gamers : DC giveaway is expected everywhere in the forum soon XD

moonshineshadow: So perhaps I should make a topic now to be first and be rid of it :D
Ha,ha! If it was possible, I'd take it off your hands right now... and save me waiting to collect my last three stamps!

AdamR: Is Evoland... Anything?
This is the third time I've seen it as a flash sale, and everytime I see it, it sticks out for some reason. I might have to go with my instinct on this one. It feels like it is meant to be.
It's essentially an homage to old-school RPGs like Final Fantasy.

It was a little shorter than I expected, but then, I bought it at launch, for $9, so of course that goes into the calculation. For $2? If you like nostalgia, it's almost surely worth the money. If that isn't your thing, though, you're probably not going to enjoy it.

hummer010: Today should be the day that the forum is flooded with Witcher 2 codes though!
avatar
Grargar: Or alternatively, the day with new threads constantly asking where is their Witcher 2 code.
You were right.
they can't really be doing the exact same flash sales for another week, can they??

... if they do, this will be like, the most boring sale ever.

well, at least my wallet will be (quite) happy.

Torin68: While we wait, can I just say: Barefoot Essentials is AWESOME!!!!11

Noticed a few mentions of the GogWiki (which I haven't seen before) which led me to the barefoot essentials greasemonkey script. Weird thing is, it put the colour back into the gog com logo; and I'm not sure I like it. :/
You should do a check-up, the whole nine yards. (~_^)

I love all the little fixes and features 'barefoot essentials' provides. But that coloured gog com logo is a little distracting on the forum. I keep thinking its an avatar and looking up to see who it is. I'm sure I'll adjust to it in time.
Huh. Which takes us back to the Day 1 discussion about associating the avatar with the person :)

^ This. It is certainly on the short side, but it's a wonderful love letter to 8-bit and 16-bit JRPGs such as Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I assume that means that you didn't pin the nav-bar at the top and still have it stalking you. (~_^)

I think there's an option to keep the new, fresher GOG logo.

Its true, I haven't played with the options much yet. I like to 'run at defaults' until I see how things work there.

Right now I am VERY excited about 'barefoot essentials'. I've been looking for exactly this sort of greasemonkey script for some time now. Just in the wrong places, apparently.
Looks like I've reached my breaking point. I didn't think I would be buying anything during this sale, but I feel a strange need to play Evoland.
Thank you to those who gave their opinions!

You have every reason to be excited, Barefoot Essentials is an irreplaceable tool, I could never go back to using GOG without it. so I'm more than grateful to Barefoot_Monkey for constantly updating and improving it.

Cheers Barefoot_Monkey!! :-DD
Never before have I found it so easy to ignore a GOG sale :(
Good morning/afternoon/evening, everyone. =)
Just checked the list and I actually didn't miss personal list items by sleeping, so pretty happy about that.

And now, day seven!

Hi one-eye - what kind of insanity do you have in store for today?
