I guess my real question about the game+movie stamp collection gift is: are the two separable? If I have neither to start, can I keep one and discar...er...gift the other?

Since some time ago, you can check what part of a gift code you want to redeem. So when you get the redeem code, just select only what you want and then give away the code for what remains :-)

I bought the game when it was on flash sale Friday night. Played 12-14 hours at this point and I'm nowhere near ready to add in the extra content of the DLC. The base game seems to have a lot to discover, so if you're just starting out, I'd say you can probably hold off on the DLC for now. I could have easily waited until the Christmas sale to pick it up, if not longer.

I know that doesn't help with whether the DLC is worth it or not, but at least it's some perspective.

This is the third time I've seen it as a flash sale, and everytime I see it, it sticks out for some reason. I might have to go with my instinct on this one. It feels like it is meant to be.

I don't know... I would expect a massive The Witcher 2 giveaway in the forums soon, as most people already own it by this point (I'm keeping the movie, for example, as some people said it was good and... why not anyways? And also I already own the Witcher 2)
