Quick question to the gods: the shadow run game coming up any good? Always wanted to try a shadow run.

I haven't played it yet but Dragonfall is widely reviewed as the best of the lot.

Yes, it's quite good, actually. Definitely superior to the first one, and now that it's a standalone version, you can play it on its own.

The gods are tired and sleepy. ;-D

Haven't played it, but everyone's saying it's much better than Shadowrun, so I guess if you were to pick one, you should go for Dragonfall?

Is this some sort of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs tale parody?

donsanderson: Used to be an immensely popular tune, never saw the video but I've always liked it.
Did you watch it now? His wardrobe is the highlight.

Thank you kind sir. I stay awake for another 20 minutes. Looks like an expensive purchase.
is there any point playing the original Shadowrun vs Dragonfall? ;).

Good question. I would love the answer to that as well.

The original story isn't bad. Also, if you care about such things, seeing a cameo from the protagonist of the Super Nintendo version of Shadowrun was a cool touch.

Maybe you can help me out. I have a question. I get the concept of the video. (And EWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.) But why, given the concept, are there little people in the video? They were adults, and unless I was WAY off, the concept had nothing to do with adults.

Also, my next selection. I call this one "What in the...." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWOzUzJd6wM

No one knows, really.... there are many, many stories and legends about this song and video.... but common belief is that Danny Elfman is an incredibly talented, perverted bastard with a twisted sense of humour. *g*

See above. Danny Elfman has never fully explained this song, so the theories range from "it's about pedophilia" to "it's about little people" to "he has a size fetish" to "older men dating younger women" to "who the #@$! knows?"

Further edit: I probably should've dropped a different Boingo video. I didn't mean to stir up the weird controversies or trigger anyone... it's just a favorite weird video from one of my favorite New Wave pop bands. :)

OK GOG, last chance to sell me something tonight. What'll it be?

Edit: It worked! That's the one I've been waiting for. ;)

Well, can only speak personally, but it didn't strike me as something horrendously offensive. Hadn't seen it before and had to ask. Thank you for doing your best to answer. =)

Additional - Shadowrun Dragonfall Director's Cut is up. 9.99, 33 percent off. After that is Cossacks Anthology.
