Section updated: Don't forget about your gamer friends that may not know GOG.com yet! Sadly, for the sake of unburdening what servers we have, we had to turn off the option for gifting free games. But you can always just let them know they can sign up with GOG.com and claim a free gift of Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics. On top of that, when they register to our service, they'll receive all the 12 free games we add to all the newly-created accounts. That way your friends will start their adventure with GOG.com with a collection of 15 great games total already on their virtual shelves! Be kind, share the good news! :-)

We'd also like to remind you, that all purchases on GOG.com are now covered with our new 30-day Worldwide Money Back Guarantee, so your holiday gaming shopping spree is safer than it ever was before.

Ghorpm: I wonder why Settlers bundles is doing that badly... They are really good games and are not discounted often, especially when compared to the other bundle or at least parts of it (I've seen many SMAC/SMAX and MoO1+2 promos and I guess they are the driving force in 4X bundle). Perhaps it's because many people don't want to buy sequels, they prefer to get the best part from the series. In that case 4X bundle may be more appealing... Even though such a high disproportion of votes is a bit surprising for me...
Guess a lot of 4X fans who havent got the games....
Since the Settlers promo is one of the two contestants for todays promo i just want to take the time to promote the wish list for The Settlers/Serf City so it can get a chance to be added to GoG in the future.

Perhaps... but I doubt it can justify such a big difference... Perhaps it's because a lot of indecisive people did vote even though they didn't care much about either bundle. Such a decision is mostly subconscious and then choosing more popular option tends to be safer (I'm talking about general situation of subconscious decisions, not video games only). I can imagine than a lot of 4X fans voted for 4X bundle at the very beginning of the voting making it slightly more popular. Then the psychological effect did the trick and after some time we have such a high disproportion... perhaps... who know/ ;)
Im actually wondering if GOG is planning anything special, as they did last year (showed all the bundles) when a certain sale started at the same time (this year unowho and the other big one is launching at same time...)

I appreciate the change to the personal deals ticker. It's good to be able to see the games beforehand so you know what it is you're going to get. That's smart and it's also more likely to make everybody happy. Good job, GOG.
WOW!!!! A huge change in daily offer style....
Oh wait its a mini encore. ARGH!

The new layout isn't helping. :P
Anyone want LOK SR1, Surgeon Sim, or Signal Ops for a Thief Gold? :D I'll ask in the Elephant thread too just to cover my bases. :D

Well, there you have it guys. GOG wants us all to go broke before christmas... :D
Um. Now I ain't studied to de' expert level on web-page-consitentnessiosity-ness. But, seems to me, that the sale page is different. Anybody else gettin' a different on de sale page? Anyone?

Ok so the page is different now. What does it all mean though? I was wondering if there would be some kind of repeats. But, are these repeats just early repeats or are they the last time these current games will repeat, before we get a new wave of games that have previously not been bundled or something? Anyone know something about that?

Haha why dont u just buy the lot?. Im actually thinking about Surgeon Sim myself (a self confessed hater..)
Something tells me gog is trying their best to grab our money before the inevitable steam sale starts (widely rumoured to be tomorrow.)

This is certainly the way to do it. The presents system is much improved the way it is as I now have a game I will be getting on it because I could see what it was, it's also not the one I would've chosen which would've been a game I do own.

Fair enough, but the only stuff I've bought has been games for other people.

I only bought Wing Commander V. To be blunt, I thought this sale sucked, maybe it'll pick up now.
People complained about the mid-promo encore day last year and now they repeated?

How's is Space Colony HD and the new Rise of Triad?
