Section updated: Don't forget about your gamer friends that may not know GOG.com yet! Sadly, for the sake of unburdening what servers we have, we had to turn off the option for gifting free games. But you can always just let them know they can sign up with GOG.com and claim a free gift of Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics. On top of that, when they register to our service, they'll receive all the 12 free games we add to all the newly-created accounts. That way your friends will start their adventure with GOG.com with a collection of 15 great games total already on their virtual shelves! Be kind, share the good news! :-)

We'd also like to remind you, that all purchases on GOG.com are now covered with our new 30-day Worldwide Money Back Guarantee, so your holiday gaming shopping spree is safer than it ever was before.

Hey, I just got something I didn't own on the mystery box! Huzzah! Pity it is something with pretty bad reviews that I had no intention of buying, but whatever.
Does anyone have a completed M&M Bundle? I would like to get M&M 1-6 for 75% off. PM me for trade offers.

physiq: I've got "Thief 3: Deadly Shadows" from the classic box, 75% off, $2.49. I'm not interested and haven't bought it yet. Anybody wanna trade? :)

The title bar of http://www.gog.com/game/aarklash_legacy says 'Aarklash: Legacy for download $10.49 - GOG.com' (as per today's Recommended Deal), but the page itself shows the regular sale price of $12.59. The GOGbears must be confused.

Confused? No.
Drunk? Possible.

Adding the item to your cart should display the proper price though.
Please vote Settlers. :)
Hahaha... *another* day where I own every single game on sale except for one that I'm neutral about. LOL And the mystery game was another one I own already again too. :) The suspense is killing me. I wish we knew in advance what all the deals were from the start. This is like waiting for new episodes of Dexter or Battlestar Galactica to come out and biting your nails. :)

I've got a cool idea for a future Christmas deal, if not this year then possibly next year... GOG could have either one day during the holiday sales where the promo is either a random game of your choice from your pre-existing wishlist (ie: you can't go add games to it once the promo starts), or they choose some number of random games from your wishlist, say... 5 random games and you get a special discount on them all, and if you buy all of them you get 75-80% off them all. Another idea would be to have one random game from your wishlist chosen every day of the sale. The only possible problem I can see with the last idea is that people would catch on to it quick and start adding games to their wishlist on purpose, or adding the entire catalogue to the wishlist, or perhaps clearing their wishlist and only adding the most expensive games or something... Not sure how they could combat people trying to game the sale in that case.

Anyhow, just some ideas I had. I'll probably submit them via a support ticket in case a blue doesn't see them here. :)

Everyone buy Icewind Dale and Might and Magic series! Time to stock up while the gettin's good!
Is Aarklash work $10.49 or with my backlog should I stick it out for the possibility of an even greater discount in the Summer or another time?

I voted Settlers, I'm not sure why anyone would vote for that other rubbish. Go Settlers, Go.

That has happened a lot during this sale with mismatched promo pages versus game cards, etc. For me Aarklash is showing up $10.49 in all places now. Maybe there's just a lull when the sale starts.

Thanks, but it does not look good for us. The 4X games are in lead. :)
So I guess no games will be released during the sale?
Finally the random box worked for me. Anachronox at 75% off. I guess that goes off the wish list now. Second game I buy on this sale.
My guess is Alpha Centauri and Master of Orion will pull lots of votes to 4X (why does Pratchett come to mind when I read that name, hmm?).
I got nearly everything I wanted from this sale already with D&D bundle winnning the poll. I'll check the Timeless Classic surprises to see if DX GOTY pops up, but besides that and Blade of Darkness (the closest thing GOG has to Dark Souls, and I still remember playing as Ragnar and Naglfar) I'm pretty much stocked for now.
So... if anyone got BoD for their today's surprise pack and is willing to get Anachronox, PM me so that I'd buy it.

Crosmando: So I guess no games will be released during the sale?
Teslagrad was the last release of 2013. Was mentioned in the youtube trailer for it if I recall correctly.
How much was Aarklash discounted with that promo on day 1?
Was it also 50%?
I'm still hoping for that deal to be repeated as there were other games as well that I wanted, but when I went to buy it there were server problems and later on the cable went out where I live. So I missed it.

NexusTenebrare: Was it also 50%?
Yes. Repeats should happen before the sale ends, at least if GOG keeps the "tradition" of its last two sales.
