Section updated: Don't forget about your gamer friends that may not know GOG.com yet! Sadly, for the sake of unburdening what servers we have, we had to turn off the option for gifting free games. But you can always just let them know they can sign up with GOG.com and claim a free gift of Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics. On top of that, when they register to our service, they'll receive all the 12 free games we add to all the newly-created accounts. That way your friends will start their adventure with GOG.com with a collection of 15 great games total already on their virtual shelves! Be kind, share the good news! :-)

We'd also like to remind you, that all purchases on GOG.com are now covered with our new 30-day Worldwide Money Back Guarantee, so your holiday gaming shopping spree is safer than it ever was before.

Well, that turned out as expected. Got the Roguelikes, not willing to spend that much on a space game I might not like, and now one for five when it comes to mystery presents. Tomorrow should be quiet since I've already got Might and Magic 1-8, 9 is supposed to be a mess and incompatible with Windows 8 to boot and I'm not interested in Ultima. Oh well, if all else fails, I'll have my own 50 percent off sale, clear 30 games off my wishlist and walk away happy.

TurnipSlayerr: There are indeed problems because of The Pit and the way we handle DLCs. We realised this late and we've done the best we can to minimise problems but if you purchased the standalone Gold Edition, not the base game + DLCs, then you'll have a problem completing the bundle. I know it's a hassle but please contact our support and we'll try and sort something for you. Here's the link for support: http://www.gog.com/support/contact/my_orders_and_payments

BlueKronos: Is there any confirmation of problems with the other purchase path? I had gotten The Pit, then later purchased the Mindgames DLC and when it was released the Gold Edition Upgrade DLC; and while it does show ownership for me on the bundle the pricing doesn't carry over to checkout.
That's strange, I'm not sure why the pricing wouldn't carry over, especially if it shows that you own the games. I'll look into this, see what the problem might be. Apologies for the inconvenience.

I submitted two customer support request about this (one in one category, then when I read this, another in this requested category).

I have the issue where the price won't carry over to check-out (asking me to complete the order for 11.97 but then asking 19.97 for the remaining three :\

Sorry for the double customer service request

JMich: Ah, sale as in discount. Yeah, sorry, you are right.
No problem, I admit I phrased it a bit confusingly.

No need to apologise. There's some kind of bug which we're trying to sort out. We'll try and fix this as soon as possible.
How fortunately unlucky. Got Thief Gold in the daily surprise but i already got it.
Aw, hell, bought The Pit Gold Upgrade just yesterday, serves me right.

Yeah I got Thief Gold already, too.

My surprise was SimCity 2000 for 1.79 when I already own it :\

Oh well if someone reads this and wants that game, what game do you have on your present list?

We might be able to buy them as gift codes and exchange ^-^

This thread is dedicated to daily deals exchange so you may post there as well to increase your chances :)

PaterAlf: Not sure, but you might be talking about Star Wars: The Battle of Yavin.
Thanks, I think that's it. According to Youtube it is better than I remembered, maybe it has had graphical updates since then.

We need more indie games like this. :)

I click the classics box but i always get games i already own :(
I voted tomorrow's deal for Might & Magic lot.

I clicked on the Brave New World box and got "Waking Mars" 75% off, $2.49. I guess I'll pass on this one.
Is Don't Starve's world randomly generated? does that make it roguelike?

gbaz69: Is Don't Starve's world randomly generated? does that make it roguelike?
Don't Starve's world is randomly generated, emphasizes exploration and survival. It has many roguelike elements.

It's fair though that today's roguelike promo doesn't guarantee ALL GOG roguelikes, just choice few.
