Section updated: Don't forget about your gamer friends that may not know GOG.com yet! Sadly, for the sake of unburdening what servers we have, we had to turn off the option for gifting free games. But you can always just let them know they can sign up with GOG.com and claim a free gift of Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics. On top of that, when they register to our service, they'll receive all the 12 free games we add to all the newly-created accounts. That way your friends will start their adventure with GOG.com with a collection of 15 great games total already on their virtual shelves! Be kind, share the good news! :-)

We'd also like to remind you, that all purchases on GOG.com are now covered with our new 30-day Worldwide Money Back Guarantee, so your holiday gaming shopping spree is safer than it ever was before.

Ghorpm: I was thinking about it too and... well, let's do some math, shall we?

SOTS: The Pit gold edition costs 12.99$ so 70% off it will cost 3.9$
Mindgames DLC and Gold Edition upgrade cost 4.99$ and 2.99$, respectively. But they are 50% during the entire sale so they cost 2.49$ and 1.49$ so 3.98$. That's only 8 cents more than the whole Gold Edition will cost tomorrow. So I won't be surprised if they are not included in a bundle tomorrow because you can upgrade your game during the whole sale for (almost) the same price.
That seems like a possibility - thanks for the response.

It would be nice if GOG discounted the DLC at the same % for people who own the base to save a little, but I think your prediction will probably be the case.
Waiting for the next round of the sale. Only nine hours fifty-seven minutes to go. But who's counting?
Actually, I am. I'm counting. Counting and waiting. And not sleeping. And calling the counter's mother some pretty filthy names in the meantime.

Has there been a definitive answer on this?.

Not that I've seen. But then again, maybe we're all a little too presumptuous. Maybe the competition will close that gap and make us all look silly. Only 6,509 separates the two, after all.

Holycow. Is that more lopsided than the DnD vote?
Partial redemption from the Fallout giveaway:

If I remember right, the D&D vote was even more one-sided, yes. They put some of the all-time classics against Wizardry and Anvil of Dawn. Not much of a surprise there.
Well, that was only natural. They gave the community a choice between "dungeons" and "dungeons AND DRAGONS".
Everyone knows dragons make stuff more epic.
All I wanted was NwN2 and IwD2, but what the... At least I'll get to know why BG is considered an icon of the genre.
I hope Spelunky isn't disappointing. We shall see in a few hours.
Yeah!! I finally got me Demon Stone for half price, and 60% off Deadly Premonition on the daily gift box decided me to take the step.. Nice to have this last in French, but no extras.. ? Ah, found the fanmade ripped soundtrack and a manual anyway.. Still, Thanks GOG!!
Caved in and bought Race the Sun after playing the demo. Question, anyone who played it, are there access to mods?. Devs site mentions steamwork for people to share stuff but what about drm free owners?
I got Thief 3 in my box earlier today and I'm wondering if I should pick it up. $2.50, worth it? Not worth it? Hmmm....

Would say it all depends on how you feel about stealth. If you can play a stealth game, feel like a ninja, enjoy those "Oh crap, they spotted me, what now?" moments, then 75 percent off is always good.
But, if you play stealth like me, running around like a drunken rhino who unloads a shotgun full of fireworks into the nearest wall for no apparent reason? Then it's probably a pass.

I emailed the publisher about extras but never got a response. I made this post in the official forum if you want to try contacting them.

Ok, I bought the D&D games last year but the current sale and all the talk about D&D has inspired me to install Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate 2. I started a game and am just getting comfortable with the tutorial mode fighting dummy monsters and whatnot. The game is a lot more smooth and playable so far than I expect from turn based games and I can see at least partly why people who like the genre get off on it. Definitely looking forward to finally playing this, and it looks great... BUT...

... now that I'm starting my addiction, I can't help but be swayed into installing the unofficial Baldur's Gate supreme deluxe chocolate sauce mods that allow you to play BG and BG2 as one huge game using the BG2 engine with the high resolution and widescreen mod. That just screams awesome. I can't wait to see the game running at 2560x1600 now, way way higher than they ever intended it to be played, it should look f'n awesome! Thanks GOG for posting the little tip page for how to do these mods, I just downloaded the bits and am going to install all the customizations with eager anticipation! :)
