Section updated: Don't forget about your gamer friends that may not know GOG.com yet! Sadly, for the sake of unburdening what servers we have, we had to turn off the option for gifting free games. But you can always just let them know they can sign up with GOG.com and claim a free gift of Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics. On top of that, when they register to our service, they'll receive all the 12 free games we add to all the newly-created accounts. That way your friends will start their adventure with GOG.com with a collection of 15 great games total already on their virtual shelves! Be kind, share the good news! :-)

We'd also like to remind you, that all purchases on GOG.com are now covered with our new 30-day Worldwide Money Back Guarantee, so your holiday gaming shopping spree is safer than it ever was before.

So I really was going to get some of the games in the D&D bundle as I figured it was about time and was really disappointed to find that when I unchecked a couple of games I wasn't interested in the price on ones I wanted jumped from 1.99 to 4.99/9.99. For me it looks like the best thing to do is just to get the entire bundle which I'm not against but I wasn't planing on using all the money in a single day and spreading it across multiple days instead...

I'm not sure what to do :/ I can save my money for a later deal or daily deal or....I dunno.

JoseWisemang: Hmmmm.... If I own Sword of the Stars: the Pit and bought all the DLC seperately does that count as owning SotS: The Pit Gold Edition in the upcoming bundle or would I have to buy the game again to achieve the discount?
I had a similar question and haven't seen a response yet. I own just the base game on GoG, and am wondering if I'll have any type of discount applied towards that bundle because of it.

If you like those kind of games, then the entire bundle really is worth it. It goes on sale as a large bundle a few times a year, but after this holiday sale I'm not sure when the next bundle-type sale will be.

There are people who can gift individual games from the bundle if they own the whole bundle. Ask around and make trades. I have the whole bundle, but I may not do trades now. PM if interested.

Pica-Ludica: Tough choice for tomorrow. The Roguelike Bundlelike seems the favourite. I already own FTL, and I'm kinda interested in the rest of the bundle. But I'm not the hardcore girl I used to be, unforgiving difficulty for difficulty's sake doesn't really appeal to me any more. I've heard of Spelunky before, and Rogue Legacy and The Pit seem to be praised quite a lot as well. Should I give them a try? How (in)accessible are they?
I cannot speak to Rogue Legacy or Spelunky, as those are the two I do not own and plan to get should that bundle win the day.

SOTS:The Pit, I can give some insight on. As CarrionCrow stated, there are multiple characters to choose from, each specializing in a certain set of skills (but all skills are available to all classes it seems). Also, not sure how much this is still the case, but when it first came out, even the easiest difficulty was considered harder than one would think due to the random generator deliberately working against any item drop that would be in your favor. It is still fun, but bear in mind the purpose of the game is the journey and not the end, and thus expect to die a ton regardless of which character that is chosen.

In case it matters, I play it with the 360 controller, and find the interface to be very very good. Only in wanting to accomplish particular actions do I still use the mouse/keyboard, but I reckon that is because I still have not figured out how to do it with the controller.

The game is turn-based, so you will not have to worry about losing due to you as the person playing the game not reacting fast enough, which I consider a huge plus (not as fast in my relative-old-gamer-age as I was during the Nintendo golden era :-) ).

Also, the game is one that I would consider one you can pick up and play anytime with respect to *most* aspects of the game, in case your schedule is a busy one and that matters too (I say *most* because there are certain things like "goo" you can acquire that are different colors, and the effect of the colors change with each starting-over, and once you discover the effect for your current attempt it is not recorded - you have to keep track of that yourself. I think there are only one or two things - goo and maybe doors and/or traps but that is it).

Sorry for the book. Feel free to ask if there is any particular area I did not touch upon that you were interested about.
You own everything in this collection

oh well :)
It's too bad the DnD deal wasn't graded. Only wanted Baulder's Gate which is only discounted as part of the whole bundle. Looks like I'll pass least I reach my Winter Sale budget too soon.

I didn't think about that. I've never done anything like that before.

Yeah I wanted to try out Baulder's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, and Icewind Dale then decide if I wanted the sequels perhaps at a later sale...or something. I kinda have a budget set aside too so 21 bucks all at once isn't ideal at the moment being so close to Xmas.
For all those who don't want the complete D&D Bundle - I already have it and can get individual games from it if someone wants to trade. Just shoot me a PM.
Ignoring daily deals, how many games are NOT discounted? Anyone got a list?

Likewise, I have them all and would be glad to help out for a reasonable trade. PM me if all the previous posters have done a trade already.
I'm glad that GOG has made a great Winter Sale but I'm disappointed in one thing - almost every time I try to pick Daily Surprise, I get a game which I already have :( GOG, can you do something about it, please?
