Section updated: Don't forget about your gamer friends that may not know GOG.com yet! Sadly, for the sake of unburdening what servers we have, we had to turn off the option for gifting free games. But you can always just let them know they can sign up with GOG.com and claim a free gift of Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics. On top of that, when they register to our service, they'll receive all the 12 free games we add to all the newly-created accounts. That way your friends will start their adventure with GOG.com with a collection of 15 great games total already on their virtual shelves! Be kind, share the good news! :-)

We'd also like to remind you, that all purchases on GOG.com are now covered with our new 30-day Worldwide Money Back Guarantee, so your holiday gaming shopping spree is safer than it ever was before.

Our 2013 DRM-Free Winter Sale will last until Sunday, December 29, at 1:59PM GMT. Happy holidays from GOG.com team, everyone! And again, sorry for the server issues in the initial hours of our sale.

One for four on mystery presents so far. With 80 items on my list, I've got close to a 1 in 8 chance of striking something I really want. Not exactly the best odds, but trying to look on the bright side perspective of it helping me save a bit of cash so I'm not done before the sale is.

Ophelium: I honestly have no problem with the daily surprise. But, so far, the only offers I've gotten are games I already own. *shrug* Perhaps my luck will turn around before the 29th :P

Bloodygoodgames: I'm just getting stuff I wouldn't be interested in in a million years. Then again, if it doesn't include anything on your wish list I'm not ever likely to buy anything from the Mystery Surprise as I have everything I want on GOG already on my Wish List. If it's not on there, I don't want it, and I'd guess most other people are the same?
I'll take a free game of course, whether it's on my wishlist or not :P

Sadly this sale has been all about things I already have. Except for Shadow Warrior 2013 on the first day, Rogue Trooper and Deadly Premonition. I'm probably just gonna buy all the Prince of Persias, Bloodrayne 1+2, and debating on Beyond Good and Evil. I've already beaten all of these, but I like the soundtracks for PoP Sands of Time and The Two Thrones and I have fond memories (no, not gonna make that joke) of Bloodrayne.

Edit: Oh and Bard's Tale because a high school friend of mine worked on it. Aaaaand VtM: Redemption because I keep hearing good things about it and I keep passing on it.

f_alcon: Anyone else notice this?

JMich: The problem was reported here a few days ago, though the cause wasn't identified. Thank you for giving an explanation.
Welcome. Only realised the cause after I opened my rarely-used IE browser, which defaults to 100% text zoom. Decreasing the zoom there, also made the 2nd game/pack invisible. Going back to 100% "fixed" it also. (Run the smaller text due to my large display).

Have advised GOG - let's see if there's anything they can do.

If you still want something else to buy, the absolute BEST game I played all year on GOG was Clive Barker's Undying - absolutely loved it, and it was far better than I even expected.

I have that already and, yes, I completely agree with you 100% (I know my taste can be suspect at times, if you've seen where I've posted :P).

Ophelium: Deadly Premonition.
This one is my GOTY 2013 and second best GOG release this year.
Grab it if you can and if you like weird \ horror things (I assume you can if you're into Clive Barker).

Fictionvision: Voted for the Roguelikelike bundle. I have FTL and Rogue Legacy. Spelunky is one of the games I wanted to get during this sale and I don't have the gold edition of the Pit. So if it wins, that plus my daily surprise (Deadly Premonition) will get my shopping list done early for me this year.

Though I'm sure I'll end up getting a couple other things before the end as I always do.
Do you have DP as your daily surprise today?

Yes, got it from the Brave New Worlds box.

Um....you might want to reconsider VTM:Redemption unless you've got a good level of patience when it comes to games.
Hi,

sorry if this has been already asked, but what will happen if I buy the "Dungeons and Dragon Desire" and send the gift to myself. Will I be able to take some games and send the others I don't want to a friend ? Or is it only 1 gift with all games inside ?

Thank you.
"InFlux" is on my present package right now.

I don't have an interest in that game.

I wonder if someone else does, and they have a game they aren't interested in? I could buy and gift it if there's a game somewhere I want in turn. Just a thought.

Bought that on day 1. Also bought a PS3 copy and sent that to my friend for his Christmas gift.

If you redeem a gift code for more than one game you have to take everything except the games you already own. You can't split them up and only take a few and leave some.

The games you do own stay with the code and can be passed down.

It's one code with all the games attached. Any games you don't own will automatically be added to your shelf, whether you want them or not.
